Player scans disappearing!?

Currently on my PS5 (latest patch) the list of players below are missing their face scans and are replaced with the "default face" that we have experienced last year also. Anybody know of a fix??

Nope you can't fix it faces are not on the roster file they are on the game data. the player ID on the roster just tells you what the face link and audio file is. no way to fix that at all. they probably did it for room or something which to be honest in 2022 is no excuse to remove players faces it's not like we are on a PS2 disk with limited room

I have an issue with a roster set (not sure which is the base for what I use) where player photos are disappearing. I play with the Sox a lot and I noticed that Moncada's photo is gone when he comes to bat. Noticed the same for Bryce Harper recently when I moved him up from the minors (must have been a roster where he was on the IL at the time).

As far as I know it’s a licensing issue. Players like Molina, Pujols and to a lesser extent Kurt Suzuki have retired and the MLBPA won’t allow their images being used if they aren’t part of active MLB.

For others like Bryce Harper (haven’t seen this one yet) it may be that the player doesn’t agree to their face being in the game. Michael Jordan did this way back in the early stages of NBA LIVE. It’s frustrating for sure..

I would sure as heck hope so, I am trying desperately to obtain more mileage out of this years game and cannot overlook this when playing Franchise.
