Worth buying? coming from 18

I have fifa 18, play seldomly as I don't have a lot of free time.

Anyway:

Is fifa 22 or 23 better on old gen? I like fifa 18's gameplay and i think the graphics are pretty close....but its 5 years old and there's no way to get more recent rosters.

I see walmart has fifa 23 for $27 and xbox store has it for $35. $20

What's a good deal for 23? Reviews seem more negative than anything.
