What are your top 3 franchise issues currently?

With the mode finally (mostly) playable what are your 3 biggest issues in the mode? I'm not talking about features we want but issues with the mode we have currently. Here's my 3...

Auto Subs just don't work. You can have it set up to 99 out 100 in and guys won't sub out. Stamina just doesn't work as intended and guys will be extremely fatigued and stay in. Fixable for the user but the CPU not so much.

The tags don't work for free agency. I've seen Tom Brady hit free agency and then get signed in FA by a team with an up and coming QB.

Injuries are mostly not relevant. You'll see plenty of teams at 100% going into the playoffs. The slider should work for simmed and played games.

The auto subs, sliders not working right every year, and the corruption bug I. Offline franchise that seems to be never fixed

auto subs works, just not very well. I think I'm set something like 70/90. The major failing is the way players can go out and not return.


Injuries for simmed games are too low, and there is no way to increase them.


Main issue for me is that the AI doesn't manage rosters well or get the advantage of scenarios, so your roster gets overpowered quickly.

AI throwing an insane amount of INTs still. It's out of control. Herbert threw 6. Fields threw 4. I've only played three full games since the patch but that's insane.

Top three issues?

Momentum Meter - Get rid of it. I will die on the hill that says it is an arcade feature that doesn't belong in the simulation mode at all. It's nothing but power-ups, and they don't even make logical, consistent real world sense how, when or why they happen or go away. Quit trying to Mario Kart my football experience sucka!

Coach Sliders - We need coaching tendencies sliders, and as I stated in another thread, it'd be great, at the very least to have a slider for each down and distance, etc. scenario that we have for when rating plays in custom playbooks.

Commissioner Mode - I propose a Commissioner Mode where I can hands down edit/approve/deny everything that goes on. This will both replace the time/effort required doing 32 team set ups for franchises, and it will allow us to fix any/all depth charts, subs, IR, free agency move, draft moves, etc. etc.

PS4 / Offline:

1) Little to no injuries with regard to frequency / duration.

2) Legacy Issue: USER CBs don't have "catches against" tallied, therefore they end up with jacked morale for the final quarter (or so) of the season.

Hard to believe, but for me that's it.

The injury thing is def the worst wart on this thing this year, IMHO.

I would add getting rid of the Momentum Meter, but thankfully that's not in the PS4 version.

The sacks for all of the defensive players in 2021 are still listed as 0 on the player card and it also doesn't show up in the record books.
