I do wish EA would only remove players if retired.

Ain't no way. They'll put him in Free Agents before they take him completely out of the game

interesting predicament....do they lower his rating to a more realistic number (which in turn lowers his value in ultimate team) or keep him at 90? meanwhile, some nfl players rant and rave about their madden ratings. they'll keep him on free agents for the time being, don't want to upset their fan base.
