NBA 2K23: Put the Defender in Jail

Did they removed this feature? In previous year’s games (at least 2K22), holding L2/LT while a defender was behind you would trigger an animation where the defender would get pinned to your back.

When I try it this year, my player just goes into protect the ball mode and defenders run right past me back into position.

I still see it. Maybe its tied to the body up sensitivity?

It’s still there but the context it triggers is a little wonkier than previous years. I’ve done it a few times but most of the time it doesn’t register.

I thought i was the only person. I have not gotten this trigger on demand at all. Once or twice by accident. The L2 hold hasn’t worked for me 1 time.
