Franchise Off-season - Coordinators leaving team?

I got to the end of the 2nd season and after winning the SuperBowl both my offense and defensive coordinators both left to take HC jobs. I know this is realistic but I didn’t even get a chance to offer a contract?

I played 9 seasons on madden 22 and never once lost any coordinators. Is this is new feature this year? Keep in mind I’ve lost all my staff upgrades with said coordinators.

Very annoyed.

I think it was supposed to work this way last year, regardless of whether or not it did.

This is one underdeveloped feature, though, because there are no negotiations for coordinators. You can sign whoever you want and likewise for the CPU. There's no financial aspect or penalty at all.

Wouldn't a coordinator almost always leave if they are offered a HC opportunity? A coordinator isn't going to make more than they would as a HC so offering them a contract in theory should not have mattered anyway. Isn't that kind of realistic, especially after winning a Super Bowl?

Wouldn't it also be realistic to have to build up your next coordinator once you hire a new one? I feel like that is how it should go down and not you just keep the same coordinators for the life of the franchise.

Wow this is really really good news. First positive thing I've heard about franchise in a month and a half since the desyncs started popping up

Will this effect the longevity of franchise if coordinators leave?

I am in 2043 with coordinator sliders at lowest setting. For the first 8 or so years my coordinators did not leave. Now one or both leave just about every off season. Just hire new ones and can usually build them up quickly as I usually have points saved only for them to be hired away again. It is a good feature in my opinion. Last off-season there were no offensive coordinators available for hire so went through preseason without one but the game generated and hired one when I advanced to the regular season. I am online and it may cause the game to crash offline when none are available.
