Still getting “disconnect due to inactivity” bug despite October update

Since CM Hooe closed the previous thread clearly anticipating that the patch would address this, I figured I’d start another one since the problem still seems to be there (and actually, I never had it until this patch).

Anyone else still experiencing this on new franchises started post-patch? Anyone have any workarounds?


NOTE: if it’s related to NEW franchises, many who previously had the glitch may no longer. If anyone wants to try to help troubleshoot, consider starting a new franchise and simming past year one.

Have not had a single one in about 4 hours of gameplay.

Check your NAT type.

Went back in and haven't had it happen yet.

Also still seeing this message, which is profoundly annoying when attempting to compile draft prospect information into one document so I can actually easily compare different players against one another. -_-

Got it today in yr 3 of my colts franchise. Just made it to the off season made it to draft then had 3 disconnects for inactivity. Was able to make it to week 1 then I got disconnected again and back into rd4 of the draft .

Really don’t want to start a new franchise because of this

Restarting my machine made it less frequent (I think I had one more) and then it was gone for about an hour’s worth of gameplay. I stopped playing before it occurred again. Could be coincidence, but “turning it off and on again” IT Crowd style may help.

Additional note: when it started doing it for me I had not yet started the draft. In fact I think I may have been the week before the draft. I was editing players when it occurred.
