Colors in game

First off let me start off by saying I absolutely love this game. There’s one thing that has bothered me the past few years and that’s the jersey and court colors, specifically for yellows and reds. Warriors court and lakers jerseys look especially off, they look great in the jersey select but on court not so much.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks? I’m on a ps5 with an LG C2 tv, I have messed with all the settings but not quite finding the sweet spot. The rest of my games look fantastic. This game looks amazing but the reds and yellows just look off

If it were me, I wouldn't mess up my TV for one game, as you state "The rest of my games look fantastic". I do agree the Lakers and Warriors look more yellow. Are their official colors "gold"?

Reds have gotten ok from where they were in 2k21 where the Raptors looked pink. They are at least red now but yellows are horrible. They look pastel to me and they should be vibrant. I am so glad I am not a Laker fan.

And ya every other game looks fantastic to me.

The generic all star court they’re using is so frustrating because it’s like pink and sky blue when it’s supposed to be a deep red and blue. I love playing w old school all star teams, and that court color kills immersion for me.

I think there’s a few factors, but a lot of it is they use color codes given to them by the NBA and its teams That don’t translate perfectly to the game, also everyone’s TV/console setup is different…… I personally did a lot of picture settings editing to get mine as accurate as possible

The lighting in game im pretty sure is the culprit. Its why the colors in the uniform select screen look good but dont in game. I highly doubt the actual colors are different between the uniform select and the ingame uniform textures. They are probably the same texture actually.. If they arent and are different colors the last 3 years thats pretty bad.

I bet the lighting is washing out certain colors.

Probably right, as a Heat fan they've gotten better over the years as previously mentioned but the color codes for certain colors have never transferred over well. But I definitely agree I think it's the lighting here. And I can deal with that because the lighting is great.
