Change difficulty question

How can you change the difficulty without having to reset all the sliders?

Do you mean if you started on Pro and set all your sliders but then later decide you wish you had started on Allstar? You want to shift to Allstar with out starting all the slider settings again?

If this is what you mean, unfortunately you can't.

You need to toggle to Allstar which loses all your lovingly set slider settings and you need to make the adjustments again.

Sorry man!

Yea, that's what I was asking. Thanks. I'm trying to switch to broadcast camera which makes the game different/ more difficult. Playing around with settings.

Actually, you can just save your sliders....change the difficulty and then load your sliders back up...quick and easy.

Nope, that will load the sliders AND the difficulty they were built off of. Easy to verify by going into freelance practice, turning on the shot meter, setting a low difficulty and then shooting around. You’ll see how large the green zone is on the meter. Then change a couple sliders so that the difficulty changes to “Custom”, but you’ll notice the green zone is still the same size. Save those sliders, change difficulty to HOF, then shoot around. The green zone is now tiny. Then simply load the sliders you just saved while keeping the difficulty at HOF, and after loading the sliders you’ll notice the green zone is back to being huge again.

Do you have to to do this every game?
I love HoF AI this year but I also hate the tiny green zone window

2k should create a green window slider

No, that's just a test to prove that loading a slider set also loads the difficulty those sliders were initially created with.

If you like a slider set that was made on HOF but you instead want to play on All-Star, you would have to set the game to All-Star and then manually set every slider. Then, you can save those sliders and whenever you load them, they will be loading All-Star difficulty as well.

Yet another reason they never should have changed the way Difficulty and Sliders worked together. In the past you could set your difficulty, then load your sliders, and the two were mutually exclusively.

Re: Change difficulty question

Love the idea of a "Green Window" slider.

Does anyone have a HOF AI slider set that I could apply to my All-star difficulty setting?

I have checked the forums, but haven't seen anything.
