Online Franchise Reverting Back to Previous Save Point

Is anyone else running into this issue? My friends tried starting two franchises over the last couple of weeks, and each time it glitches out during the first offseason NFL draft and we can't progress past that point, it just reverts back to the draft every time like described in the above thread.

It doesn't look like EA's responded yet, and it looks like it's an issue that's been going on since Madden 22 (and maybe 21), so I'm not confident that it's going to get fixed anytime soon on their end.

Does anyone know what might trigger the glitch and if there's a way to avoid it reliably?

Yea. I restarted my franchise offline because of it. But that wouldn’t work if you’re playing with a friend
