MyNBA Era’s most wanted players

So let’s have some fun, out of all the players that have never been available or not in recent years you really hope to see on a roster in 83-84 / 91-92 / 02-03? Feel free to mention draft classes as well, but let’s hold off on the Barkley & Reggie talk since they are not in.

Here are mine:

1. Anthony Mason - just need the man back, w/ that unique shot, tattoos and dribbling you just can never replace him w/ a remake.

2. Michael Adams - little fella w/ the push shot, another one that if he’s out, you just won’t see that shot in and if he’s in without the unique push shot, don’t even bother.

3. Rasheed Wallace - Pistons aren’t the same without him.

4. Bison Dele aka Brian Williams - highly unlikely, but man it’s time, he was a beast and want to play W/ an accurate looking one.

5. Earl Boykins - love me some little dudes

6. Mitchell Wiggins - father of current Wiggins, busted for drugs in 86 alongside John Lucas and cost Rockets possible championship. Would love to rectify that in a what if situation.

7. Carl Herrera - the only key member of the 93-94 Rockets not present. Also a hard guy to create yourself and he has a nickname that the Rockets PA might announce if in. Not sure w/ CAP Herrera is a surname that is part of the ones announcers will recognize.

8. Eddie Griffin - Rockets young player w/ a lot of potential who died tragically in a car accident in 2007.

9. Larry Smith - Mr Mean

10. Bobby Phills - it’s time

Draft Classes:
- Francisco García, Carlos Delfino, Mike Harris, Von Wafer, Stromile Swift, Gerald Green, Luc Mbah a Moute, Troy Daniels & Williams - personal favourites

P.S. Rex Chapman was never playable outside of myteam I think so honourable mention.

Re: MyNBA Era’s most wanted players

I know 2k had Anthony Mason with tats on his arms but I can’t remember him having any. Maybe they were small.

Only a few of these guys would be critical but I guess my list would be:

1. Mason
2. Harold Minor
3. Sam Bowie
4. Bimbo Coles
5. Mookie Blaylock - unlikely I’d think.
6. Dale Davis
7. Willie Anderson
8. David Benoit
9. Tyrone Corbin
10. Mark West
11. Oliver Miller
12. Derrick Mckey
13. Stanley Roberts
14. Ken Norman
15. Loy Vaught
16. Sedale Threatt
17. Benoit Benjamin
18. Chris Gatling

Re: MyNBA Era’s most wanted players

Not really a roster guy but off to top of my head;

*04 Pistons

- Taurean Prince with his huge wingspan and lockdown D
- Ofcourse Rasheed Wallace
- Mehmet Okur the sixth man needed for spacing to work

*Miscellaneous

Danny Granger
Andrew Bynum
Shannon Brown(need some highlights)
Chris Childs
Ben Davis
Chris Andersen
Raja Bell

Mehmet Okur and Chris Andersen are big ones to me just because they're both so difficult to create with an even semi-realistic resemblance to their real life selves. There's at least some hope if you're creating Utah-era Mehmet Okur (when he spiked his hair and grew that chin piece) but it's really difficult to create a frumpy Memo.

And Birdman's tattoos were so colorful and unique that you generally have no shot at cranking out a realistic Andersen.

I'll also add that it'd be nice to have Orlando Woolridge back. There were some great Woolridge models out there, but it'd just be nice to have the real one (unless he's been added since I last played).

Re: MyNBA Era’s most wanted players

Some of the guys mentioned were already available in 2K22 offline modes: guys like Rex Chapman (through Historic Draft Classes), Glenn Robinson (All-Time Bucks and 2005 Spurs), Mark Price (1990 Cavs), Danny Granger (2014 Clippers), Rod Strickland (Historic Draft Classes)...

Isn't Mark Price on the 89 and 90 Cavaliers?

I can confirm this. He is there. Played a game with these Cavs yesterday.
