Anyone having issues with the game subbing your starters out?

This issue started happening to be about a week ago but I have been noticing in my games that it's subbing my starters out after like the first series or 2 and then they don't return at all. For example in my game yesterday after the first 2 carries for James Robinson the game subbed him out and he then returned for the first play in the 3rd quarter only to then be subbed out again, was not injured or anything.
Another instance was the game subbing my receivers out throughout the game, by the 4th quarter I had my 6th wr and even backup tight end playing receiver. Someone mentioned to me if I an doing full padded practices late in the season and no I am not, and it shows my players fatigue is green solid anyways so I wasn't sure if anyone else is having these issues also?

Also the game is not registering my formation subs on defense either, it keeps putting one of my safeties in the linebacker spot in nickel formation when I have in my depth chart AND formation subs for both my linebackers there.

You'll need to pay attention to your player fatigue levels and the auto sub settings. You mentioned your players are still green, but didn't say what their numerical value is. It could be they still have higher levels of energy, but it is low enough that after a few actions they fall below the auto sub threshold and can never recover enough to come back. It could also be a bug.

Are these numbers visible someplace while you are playing a game, or do you need to stop play and look in the depth chart?

During the game I am not sure they are. Going into the game they are if you go view a player card. Even if someone is green, they could have 95% energy or whatever it calls it in game and that could potentially be enough to keep them out of the game after a few actions.

There's a few variables to this to figure out if it is the mechanics actually working, or if it is a bug. This is what we have to do when the wear and tear system is so outdated and poorly implemented.

In previous madden games if they were low on fatigue they would show up yellow or red during the game to show how tired they are, but the issue I’m having is them being green and then being out the whole game. While my backups like 6th wr is playing the whole game

What are your sub thresholds? I see most of those that have problems have crazy numbers like 98/99, meaning the player is out when he drops to 98% energy and only goes back in at 99.

You can see energy levels when playcalling on the formation page, on the player card out of game, and in practice when choosing what to practive. It's a crappy little bar graph that's hard to judge, and stays green when it really should be amber.

Green doesn't mean 100% energy. It is just above whatever threshold EA has it set to before it turns yellow.

To figure this out better we need to know what your auto subs are set to and what your guys energy levels are going into the games.

My auto subs were set high, might be the reason I guess. I used auto subs that I been using in previous years but I guess it’s really sensitive this year
