What's up everyone!! I'm back for Madden 23 Next gen. Overall, Madden 23 is a big leap for the series as far as gameplay goes and as soon as they fix the free agency bug in franchise, I will be the most excited to go deep in a franchise as I have ever been. For my sliders this year, there are a few things you have to do along with my sliders to get them to play well, well 1 thing really...and that's edit the CPU QBs you are about to play. In Madden, CPU QBs follow their archetypes way to much and with how Madden's rating system is set up, Improvisor is almost always rated higher than scrambler once you get into the higher rated QB's. The problem with this is that improvisors specialize in throwing on the run and avoiding pressure by extending plays, and they do just that. They will however, not scramble past the line of scrimmage because that is tied to the scrambler Archetype.

How do we fix this you ask? Well, We edit CPU QB's ratings to make Scrambler the 1 rated archetype for them. This will have them moving around in the pocket and taking off on you, however, this can lead to 1 more problem. Dinking and Dunking. 1 of the main sliders for Scramblers is their short throw accuracy (don't ask me why). So now you have QB's who will run on you and dice you up with passes 10 yards or less for 90% completion....sounds fun right? wrong!! To fix this, the second highest Archetype for the QB must be strong arm, and medium throw accuracy as well as deep throw accuracy must be rated higher than short! Once you do this, you now have CPU Qb's scrambling, moving in the pocket, throwing the ball deep, pushing it down field, all to a realistic completion % because deep throws have a much lower success rate.

Going to give the All Pro a whirl, have tried Pro this year but I can't lose on that setting

with both sets I am 95% completely in my own opinion....Main thing I am still working at is a solid QB accuracy setting that has them throwing the ball deep, not just dinking and dunking. I want off target throws as well.

So no classic throwing? I find it hard for me to give that up this year but I know others are giving the new passing a try also

So that was a uh game lol

Colts (me) vs Jags

Lawrence threw 5 picks and got sacked 5 times, I attribute both to him really wanting to scramble
Cpu offense never got off the ground, had maybe 1 good drive
17-27 114 yards mostly underneath stuff longest passes were slants did work Etienne a good hit but mainly on option routes, they ran a total of 18 times for 49 yards

User offense passing is tough, 10-16 101 yards 1 int, Foles in garbage time went 3-3 and a TD
For the reason I won 51-0, Jonathan Taylor 24-233 3 tds, 21 broken tackles lol 99 YAC 2 20 plus carries and opened the day with a 68 yarder untouched.


Its the Jags so I'll play a few more but I think figuring out getting the CPU offense a bit more potent is the tough thing this cycle for everyone on the settings below all Madden.

I usered D line to start but had like 3 sacks as a team in 1st quarter so I rotated to the LBs for 2-4 quarters

Just played a game with the All-pro sliders. Must say one of the best games I've played this year in week 2 of my Jets franchise. Outside of the ints 6 combined the game played really well. Awesome work.

2nd game
Played as Lions vs Commanders

User offense feels good, Their line ate mine up, I only managed 186 yards they had 3 sacks and Swift never got going

Cpu offense remains the issue, need to see how a good qb and a pcoket qb play hut wentz was very up and down, 2 picks and got sacked 5 times, 4 by Hutch

Gibson had 2.8 ypc and Wentz led in rushing with 46 yards on 7.6 ypc

Lost 12-9 pretty even game but would love to feel like I'm trying to stop the cpu offense rather than them stopping themselves
