Re: ShaneTheMaster’s Madden 23 NextGen CPU vs CPU Slider Set

After doing some additional testing, I think the game plays better at ALL-PRO, and I think I figured out a way to minimize interceptions at that skill level. Changes to sliders appear in BOLD in original post.

If you don't use CPU vs CPU, you may be able to use the CPU portion of the sliders to help create a more realistic game for you.

Check out an example game played out using these sliders below. A close game that went into overtime. The Saints were able to shut down the Panther's run game - but Kamara went off. Some nice runs by Kamara in this one.

Hope these help someone!

Keeping an eye on your thread! Will give these a try tomorrow with my trial time I got left. I would Love to dive into CPU vs CPU this year. Are you just controlling one team or doing a 32 Man? Also, are you using owners or coaches?

I just GM one team, and slow-sim the games in presentation mode. It’s also easier to alter the game correctly without a human element added to the on-field play. Let me know when you get a chance to try them out!

Re: ShaneTheMaster’s Madden 23 NextGen CPU vs CPU Slider Set

I’ve been doing a 32-team CPU vs CPU league. Two things are jumping out right now. Way too many INTs, as you alluded to, and I’m finding no way to stop it. Also, the read option is broken. The QB keeps every time. I’ve had to change playbooks for the Ravens and 49ers, so far, to avoid their QBs getting 20+ carries per game. Are you seeing good results with your running game? I have Run Blocking at 100, tackling at 55, and I’m still not seeing many teams go over 4.0 yards/carry. I’m going to try tackling to 50 after seeing this, but I’m just hoping it doesn’t lead to too many big plays in the pass game with Pass Acc elevated and Coverage/Reaction lowered to try to limit picks. Other than that, we’ve arrived at pretty similar settings. Can’t wait to see yours evolve over the next few weeks.

Re: ShaneTheMaster’s Madden 23 NextGen CPU vs CPU Slider Set

So far I am seeing varying results with the run game. If you see the example game I posted on you tube, Kamara had a 100+ yard game. However, I am still testing, as I am using 4 different teams to test with, and sometimes it seems the running game can really struggle. It seems like there is more variance from 1 game to another- which isn’t a bad thing, it just makes it harder to test slider adjustments.

Thanks for the work. Curious if you looked into player traits, specifically QB traits.

Progressive fatigued on or off matter for cpu v cpu gameplay?

My goal is to not have to modify the player traits. I am currently testing with progressive fatigue ON, but may end up turning it off if it’s still a problem like last year.
