(Xbox Series X|S) Bak2Business' True to Life / Sim Madden 23 Rosters

Hey everyone, for a long time now I have felt as if EA's rosters don't really simulate just how unique each player in the league are compared to each other. Obviously there aren't enough ratings in a video game to fully capture how each player plays but I will be making changes to the base roster and releasing them as quickly as possible for anybody interested.

Changes would include:

Re-Rates & general rating stretches

i.e.
Deebo Samuel having the highest ball carrier vision at 98 is weird and makes no sense.

QB speed for dudes like Tom Brady. No reason he should be anything above a 50 in speed.

Fixing messed up ratings in general as well.


Emphasis on stretching range for:
BCV
QB AWR/TUP/Accuracies

Increase globally:
Play Recognition (If defense is nerfed)
Awareness (Mainly OL and defenders)
Press Coverage for CBs
Block Shedding for defenders
QB Carrying
Blocking for TEs / blocking WRs

Decrease globally:
TUP
BSK
PAC
Spin Move
Injury / Stamina / Toughness
Kicker Accuracy
Release
BCV


I try to be as unbiased as I can possibly be. I just want players to play true to themselves and I want the game to play as close to realisitc football as I can possibly make it.

Getting started now. Halfway done with QBs.

As of now I have uploaded what is probably a 75% completed roster. Still need global adjustments to a few ratings across the board.

So, what you'll see in the roster:

QB ratings stretch. I have to fix certain awareness ratings for players because we use a QB AWR chart in our CFM.

HBs ratings stretch between the elite and the rest. Generally lower BCV for backups

FBs who can actually block. For whatever reason, the best FBs in the league are rated around 72 or below for RBK and/or PBK and extremely low RBF/RBP and PBF/PBP ratings. Now Juice check will be able to lead block and stay on his block.

WR/TEs who are good blockers are now rated as such.

OL still needs to be fixed for the most part. It also seems as if EA made every single OL a candidate for that extremely obese show. Changing the weight of an OL by just 1 completely changes them from looking like Fat Buu to looking like a football player.

DL has some players with high BSH and some other re-rates.

LBs same as DL. Certain players with more accurate ratings also.

DBs slightly lower man coverage across the board, might do even more later. Also more accurate (imo) ranking of players. Not sure how Minkah Fitzpatrick isn't one of the best safeties in EAs roster.

Overall changes based on what I originally listed.

Your game settings & sliders will most likely need to be tweaked to account for changes to Injury, Stamina and Toughness. I still have a good amount of players I still need to edit for that as well. And I'll be making a slider set after I'm fully done too.

Still doing edits in the CFM we're making but when we're done there I'll finish up the upload as soon as I can.

Also I prefer using 95spd threshold in the sliders too.

Hey sorry got caught up with school/work/our CFM lol.

I'll try and get as much done within the next week.

The changes to devs can only be done in the CFM also.
