Headphones best way to play imo. You can hear a lot of things you don't pick up through TV speakers or a house full of kids lol. I love all the walkup music that's not on the game's menu music playlist. A huge variety. I don't know if everyone has a different song but it seems like it.

Yeah I dunno it’s the only thing I’ve noticed that’s bothering me well good hire or perfect ones seem to always be fly balls 80% of the time or pop ups. It’s good that homers are not crazy though. IRS more of a frustrating out hitting the ball so good to get so many fly outs

Maybe your latest changes will create more bloopers as less contact

I haven’t been really tracking the groundballs and fly out numbers like last year. Last year, they had too many infield pop ups.

I just played a game and tracked.

The balls put in play by the CPU
Groundball/choppers: 15 (52%) MLB average 44%
Line drives: 5 (17%) MLB average 22%
Flyout: 9 (31%) MLB average 34%
Popup: 2 (22%) MLB average 11% (11% of fly balls are popups in mlb)

Il will start tracking this and report back.

Re: S & B's MLB 2025 Simulation Sliders

Id be careful about this. I know, for a fact, that solid hits for HUM controls choppers and popups. It's extremely noticeable, but only done when a lowering to solid hits occurs. If you don't address swing and miss %, then none of those stats matter. BIP comes first, then contact off the bat. Looking at numbers like that to drive sliders while ignoring what comes first isn't smart. Understand the ENTIRE give and take. Too much tunnel vision going on around here

You are correct and make good points. I tracked swing and miss % last year and they fell in line. It is a hard balance to do that cause you could go down the slider rabbit hole.

I will definitely be watching to see how many games your Dodgers franchise wins Bryan. That is a 100 win team without a doubt. I definitely want to see what the final players stats are also.
