Got it. Don't let know how to create or search, but I'll check again when I'm back home from vacation on Sunday night.

Right now I'm getting most of my gems trying to fill out my gallery. Though being able to jump from open course directly to open course now saves a ton of time. It's just still really boring.
What do you mean it's really boring? Gem-hunting? I like playing for leaderboards and such as well still, though I'll never be as good as the rest haha.

I still have to fill out my gallery in the lower ranks, but I don't think I get gems for doing so unfortunately.

The open course gem hunting specifically. Playing rounds and such to collect gems is good.

I only have 3 ranks of my gallery completely filled. So I've got a ways to go. You're right, rank 7 matches are the only ones that reward gems so if you've maxed that gallery you'd only be playing them for gems at this point.

Finally got around to playing the new course today. Uploaded a round from it below if anyone wants to preview it before dropping $6.49 on it.

I would say I really enjoy the new course. It has a decent amount of difficulty, some holes have very interesting and tough layouts. It also features a lot of water zones instead of bunkers. If you have the $6.49 and don't mind spending that much on a course I say go for it.

First international tournament starts the 27th.

Basically, qualification lasts Monday through Friday. Then the final is during the weekend, starting Friday right after the qualification window closes and ending Monday. The blog has Japan times so I'm not exactly sure what the exact times translates to but we'll get a notice in game two days prior to the start of the qualifying round.

Edit: In addition, they are giving away 10 gems every week just for logging in. First period started yesterday the 23rd.

E2: Also looks like they are giving away 10,000 coins for people who's first log in is this week.

Even after translation these Japanese blog posts aren't always clear.

When does the week end? Unless I can connect through Remote Play from 300 miles away (unsuccessful as of yet), I won't be getting home until Sunday night and may miss out.

EDIT: Nevermind, now it's working. Probably didn't work yesterday because of the amount of visitors all on their phones haha.

Woo getting pretty hyped for the International Tournaments. You only get one entry so you gotta make it count!

First tournament is Eagle City 18 Holes, Teeny Cup, and Normal Wind. The 'Qualification' Round will use *Regular Tees while the 'Finals" will be using Championship Tees.

*Might be Long Tees, I cannot remember...

I got all 3 of the DLC courses and they were all just OK. Probably liked Green the best the Asian course the least. Would have preferred a remake of United Golf Club from the PS2 collection TBH.

That's fair. I would probably say Nam Rong Bay CC is my favorite just because it has a little more difficulty but Green CC is a close second, even just for the music.

I am probably a little softer on the DLC because Everybody's Golf released at $40. I also got Green CC for free by preordering so if I had to pay $5 for that course I might feel a little different.
