Lol I was complaining to my wife last night around 1 that I wish I had a crappier job because I would stay up all night playing.

I've never played a Hot Shots before. I have always kept my golf games pretty serious - starting with the Nicklaus game on Nintendo when I was like 8. But, this game is great! The sound of the perfect impact really hits a reward center in your brain.

I went 3-0 in Turf War last night - that's a pretty fun mode. I did an 'open course' online, but that was just me playing against other hole scores posted by people. Where do I go to play simultaneously with a bunch of people running free on the course?

This series (AKA Hot Shots Golf) always sucks me in also. It's silly and goofy and yet in depth and so fun to play. Not sure if it's as good as my favorite Hot Shots Golf 3, but a much needed game for the Ps4 and took so long. but finally here!

Re: Why am I enjoying EG more than TGC2?

I think it's because EG is more of a video game. There's a lot going on with things to unlock, leveling up, etc. TGC is just golf. It's all there for you at the beginning, and the lack of a real reason to play single player catches up pretty quick.

I haven't played much TGC2 since I am still waiting on TGCTours to kick off. Next week, I will have to find a way to play both games because EG doesn't feel like it's going to take a back seat.

Everybody's Golf has always been the best since Hot Shots on PS1. The ball physics are 2nd to none.

I got several hours in last night. Early impression: I love this game. There are some issues and questionable design decisions but the bottom line is it plays a fun game of golf.

Re: Everybody's Golf Arrives on August 29 For PlayStation 4 - Watch The New Trailer

I'm currently at level 6 and ranked up to 2. The challenge is starting to increase now that I'm playing on the Amateur courses. Birdies are not coming as easily as before and I've had a couple bogeys. I'm missing putts I normally would have had no problems with earlier. The greens are a little trickier and less forgiving. I'm not complaining. I'm actually pleased to see this. I'm still trying to figure out the backspin because several of my approached are going further than I would like.

I unlocked a new caddie and have only played one round of 9 with him. Not sure if he brings any further benefits or not. It is a nice change from the overly cheerful Suka. By the way, I experimented in trying out solo play with the pre-order DLC court. Can't remember the exact course name but it was pretty unforgiving. The greens especially were not easy!

Loving this game! I will say if you don't like to grind to level up your player, you may not enjoy it as much as I currently am.

All I can say is the game is addictive and fun. Can't wait to rush home from work

By the way check out reviews of the game and the lowest review score i was able to find was 80/100 with most ranging from 80-90. Truly one of the better games out there.
