I can confirm the workaround works on PS4 as well.

Just finished a full weekend race...both moto's and returned to the main career menu at the end of the race.

It's out pretty much everywhere in the world except for the US for over a week now.

You can import a copy from some online sites or ebay....no region lock on PS4.

Also if you have an account from another country other than the USA it's available for download.

Saw this posted on the steam Forums. Not sure if this is the same patch.

Hello, and first of all thanks for reporting and taking part in these first MXGP3 days.
A patch based on internal checking and community feedback has just gone live and here's the fixlist.

- Customization: custom names and numbers now visible even with Low and Medium graphics settings
- Video Options: monitor specific resolutions detection
- Video Options: added Supersampling option for high-end PC
- Race Sessions: fixed skip session causing all sessions following the one skipped to being simulated
- End Race: fixed getting stuck when all skills are at max value
- Race rewind: fixed rewind behaviours when used just before finish line and when cancelled
- Stability: fixed crashes on application quit
- Stability: fixed crashes on specific resolutions and quality levels
- Time Trial: fixed lap count not working correctly if returning to pit and back to race
- Time Trial: fixed race page to show correct weather
- Online: Added all players results menu in online qualifying
- Online: fixed not working confirm button in race rewards page
- Online: voted weather to be applied on every weekend session.
- Qualifying: consider as a valid lap the one finished after the session timer elapsed
- Audio: 2 strokes audio improved
- AI: speed and ideal times improvements
- Track Kegums: MXGP category's lap time fix; improved AI trajectories
- Track Pietramurata - Respawn splines fix
- Track Mantova: fixed width of some hoops to prevent players from skipping them; improved AI trajectories
- Localizations: fixed all spanish locale languages

Please remember to report eventual further issues through our official Customer Support at this link: http://milestone.it/supporto/?lang=en
We will keep working on game optimization and known bug fixing. Have fun!

Incidentally I picked the game up for Xbox One, and I definitely like some of the changes. Glen Helen looks like it's running at 20 fps. This is after the patch by the way, so I don't know if it was even worse before. Have not been able to join an online game yet, so that kinda sucks...

Big fan of MXGP2 and bought MXGP3. Great game. The track degradation and particle effects make a huge difference.

Have to be real here though, the graphics are a massive step down. I read an article that described it as a almost a layer of Vaseline over the screen. I went back and played mxgp2 to compare and I have to agree 3 is pretty bad.

The good news is the games so good it's hard to care. Will be playing this a lot.

I'm currently out of the country and had some down time so it was a nice surprise to see this patch news.

Did the clutch get fixed?
