OK here's a quick rundown of what I think 2K should fix in the next patch.

1. Revert dribbling to what it was like on release.

Change the dribbling animations back to what it was like at the beginning of the 2K17 release, back to before patch 1.6 hit and ruined the dribbling animations. 3. Remove the grope-flail-strip animation in the paint while going for a layup/dunk.

There is this annoying animation where the dribbler goes into the paint, and is about to attempt a layup, but then instead of finishing through the layup, he gets groped and loses the ball.

This should be a reach-in or shooting foul, but there is no call at all and the dribbler just loses control.

4. Loosen CPU on-ball defense.

CPU on-ball defense is ridiculous. The bumping and godly reactions of the CPU to every single one of my dribble moves is completely unrealistic. Unless I break their ankles, nothing breaks them down. Fakes and hesis do nothing against a CPU because they immediately recover.

Realise that the CPU needs to be able to be broken down by faster players.

CPU recovery speed is unrealistic.
This is basically word for word what I need to see addressed to be happy with gameplay this year. The other thing I can add is substitution AI. I know it has been touched on but it hasn't been addressed. If you use advanced rotations in My League, players in foul trouble are not subbed out. Of course you can sub manually, but that does not apply in My Career. At least 2 big men per game have 5 fouls by the 3rd quarter, and there's nothing you can do about it. The dribbling patch has completely crippled Iso players, including your trusty side kick Justice Young. He's basically useless now as a teammate because he's a shot creator that has been nerfed into non-existence. I know a lot of the online issues have a trickle down effect on those of us that don't play park and pro-am exclusively. I wish the gameplay team could figure out how to change 1 without ruining the other.......

Edit: I forgot to touch on open teammates. I use player lock in My League, and when I pass to a wide open teammate for a shot, instead of shooting they do an unnecessary stepback. This kills the game at crucial moments. If somehow they could just shoot that would make a lot more sense.

If there is a way to lessen the grind, that would be appreciated. I have enough VC to make 2 more players but I dread playing mycareer and doing time consuming practices over and over.

Maybe a blocked shot towards a Rim Protector Badge on "HOF" can be worth 3(NOT STATISTICALLY) as opposed to it being worth 1 on rookie. It would make more people play on harder difficulties and learn what actually works when you go to Walk On instead of shooting weird shots because they pull it off in "Rookie" MyCareer. Just a thought.

Make the shot meter a shot release meter so we all can learn our shots better or at least give us the option to make the meter a Release Meter or Success Meter. Right now it doesn't tell you when you've released it perfectly everytime because you may not have taken a good shot and it will just fill up all white. I can't practice my ONLINE jumper in walk on because of the ball hogs and low IQs of the Kyrie Currys and the Carmelo Bryants.

Picks, Speed Boost, PnR Maestro, Brick Wall and mabey the high three point percentages have probably already been spoken of heavily so I won't add to it.

Playing NBA 2K feels like a job that pays minimum wage and then cuts your pay when you get your Bill's right to make it even harder to succeed. I do not like this game but it's the only one in town.

I give up...

I thought simple stuff like the PA saying the wrong person's name for "assisted by" in pro-am would be patched in the beginning of the game.

I thought simple stuff like fixing not being able to capture audio when you save videos of the game would be patched in the beginning of the game.

If EASY stuff like that gets ignored, there is no way anything of consequence will be fixed. These aren't even fixes, they are just "we moved X slider 5% to the right and we moved Y slider 5% to the left"

Have the cpu players drive a little harder and more often to the rack instead of almost allways settling fo for he jumpshot

HOF limitless range and Brickwall are crazy effective. Very arcadey . Pick dodger and charge card could use a boost .

They seriously need to dump those HOF badges. There was absolutely no need for a 4th badge tier. What a ridiculous idea.

All I ask for is to reduce effectiveness for brick wall, slightly increase light contested shots, faster loading times and oh... fix the dribbling!!!!

The auto post animations, slow responsiveness all of it! It was perfect day 1. I was actually able to dribble with my 6'5 Shot Creator pretty well. I still can but it's not as fluid as it once was.
