I usually play my franchise with the method of; Play one month, sim one month, repeat. With critical moments and quick manage, I can get to have more control over my team. That is if my star players don't all get injured for the year after two or three games simulated. Kudos to the team for implementing a way for me have more control without actually playing games.

With that being said one piece of franchise that needs to be addressed is progression/regression. I see too many players regress after a bad season, or mediocre season and just fall off the map. Yes, it happens but not to five All Stars every year. In one franchise the Astros traded Jose Altuve to the Dodgers, no big deal, trades happen. However, by 2019 he was a 73 overall and the next year he couldn't get a contract and then retirement by 2021. This scenario has happened with multiple players and it gets frustrating that the stars of the game are forced out before they hit their prime. On the other end of this, we also see good players reach 35 and decide it is time to retire no matter what. Hopefully, regression/progression/retirement has been tweaked. Players do decide to retire early sometimes or hang them up after great seasons but it happens less than rain outs/double headers.

My only other wish for franchise would be in-season contract extensions. I know they've talked about working on it in the past and I don't know the level of difficulty but this is the only thing I can think of that happens semi-regularly that we don't get that actually impacts your team. As much as I would like this it doesn't hurt the game without it. This is something I feel would add to the authenticity.
This is big for me as well. Players who are still capable of performing well retire too early. This is where it would be cool if there were interactions w/ players who are considering retiring. It's annoying seeing an 80+ overall, or even a 70+ overall player with serviceable to good batting attributes retire right around 35.

Player "wear and tear" could be added in that players who have gone through many nagging injuries or have had more than a few debilitating ones are more likely to regress faster or earlier depending on the limb(s)/part(s) of the body affected. So if a guy's been dealing with arm injuries throughout his career, his arm strength/accuracy could regress earlier than his other attributes, as well as his overall durability which may lead him to retire early. More so if he's a pitcher. Another example could be a player who's had a good amount of nagging injuries on multiple parts of his body. As a result of the overall wear and tear, he may begin to regress earlier and may retire earlier.

Players drop in potential/OVR to quickly as well, usually after 1 bad season as you said. That season could have been a fluke. Also, way too often top tier players get left without contracts during free agency. This is why I'd like to see teams be able to receive more funds from sources other than just attendance. Promotions could be added, tv deals and jersey sales should come back. And overall better team management by AI.

Just stuff I'd like to see considered for the future to address progression and regression.

That analogy isn't even in the same ballpark. I feel either some just don't believe or choose to ignore how much goes into creating/coding a video game. It isn't as simple as giving someone a shopping list.

Just stop it right there. If you don't like it, don't buy it, simple as that.

I get that more can always be added in and a lot of people are upset that its not. Unless we are on the other side we have no idea about what resources are needed for certain things and if its worth it for them. I play a lot of franchise and some things could be added but I like the additions to help get through a couple seasons instead of 1.5.

Franchise may not got what you wanted but overall there are a lot of additions to this game, and if its not what you want then you can be unhappy and frustrated but maybe take a step back and try to look at it from their point of view. They want to attract new users, OS is not the rule of what the Show should be even though its a great thing that they do listen even if its not feasible for them to implement certain things.

Some seem to think that only what they want should be important, and it can be important to them but its their came they are the ones who are entitled to choose what to do with it. Im sure if a bunch of OSers didn't buy the game this year it wouldn't affect their sales.

Looking forward to March 28!

Why? Because I buy the game every single year and would like to see certain things implemented? Just because you tell me not to buy the game doesn't mean I won't. Stop defending the game, you sound like a fanboy. Glad you get out of the game whatever it is you ask for every year.

Very true. You charge the same amount for the game as 2K does. Maybe it's time to get some more help on the payroll

This doesn't make sense at all.
