Really like the additions of quirks. A good step in the right direction to make franchise feel more immersive and more than a bunch of play now games.

I will say, if they have truly addressed some of the AI logic like the power hitters laying down suicide squeezes that always work, or the crazy amount of catcher/pitcher put outs during a game and especially the faulty base running (2 out deep shots and the runner from second waits to run instead of just going) I would be happy as hell... this being said, going to play game 6 of my Mets and Blue Jays...hope I win and trade in 16 for 17.
I agree with your point on fixing the quik sim issues. If they still have the game log, we can access it to see if things are truly fixed. and has any one seen if they changed the box scores yet ?

I'm hoping that they touched upon Spring Training. As it stands it is rather pointless. I would like to have prompts to cut or send down players as ST progressed. Would add a bit of immersion and make it seem like you're actually setting up your roster for the season. As it stands, once you end ST the AI automatically sends players down, based largely on OVR. Adding NRI's is also a must.

when using Y-T-Y saves, how do you think this will impact players that are current - as well as classic rosters ?

You can set your own 25 man roster after Spring Training. After you play your last game and before you click to end spring training, you can move players down to the minors thus setting up your 25 man roster. The game will not mess with this roster.

I wish the CPU had better logic however....their lineups and rosters are all jacked up.

I am just not following this logic. I too play all 162 in two franchises I have. The game is awesome playing full games. So nothing has changed in that department.

But this quick manage mode and critical moments feature set is not troubling in the least bit. I am not a casual player yet those features have me giddy.

Why?

Because now I can play several seasons with the plethora of classic rosters I have accumulated over the last 3 years in addition to playing my two main franchises, every pitch, every AB etc.

This gives hardcore guys like me even more freedom and free time to play ton's of baseball and fully enjoy the game over multiple seasons.

Yeah.....there are guys like us who play every game. But I can bet your bottom dollar that the information they gather via the servers tells them most don't. There are probably far more players who play one and sim 5 or have some type of system to get themselves through multiple seasons.

Well now they have two awesome features that will not leave a lot of things to random chance. Now they can be part of the simulation process via quick manage and/or Critical Moments.

I think this is a fantastic addition to the game. And this is coming from a guy who plays all 162 without quick counts.

I am looking forward to playing a 1985 season replay in a fraction of the time, and then move on to 1988, 1990 etc etc etc. Great feature for classic roster Show players who have oodles of rosters but don't have enough time to play all of them.

This is awesome.

Will Player Quirks be unlockable in RTTS? if not, huge missed opportunity.
