To be clear, is this PS4 or PS4 pro footage?

Unless they have removed the option, you can disable his commentary.

Ramone confirmed Lyons and Karros are out of the game via Twitter, btw.

It's great that they allow you to disable individual voice(s). I only wish they would also tag any line where Vasgersian addresses someone you've muted and automatically mute those as well. Would help with immersion when you're playing with a supposedly solo booth.

This post is an absolute embarrassment.

You don't like Harold Reynolds -- fine. But to bring up the sexual harassment case (that he was completely and totally exonerated from), without giving the full facts, you might as well rename yourself 'CNN' on this board, because you're about as accurate at giving news facts.

First off, its been years since that case and I don't remember every specific detail, but to understand the Harold Reynolds case and his innocence, is to understand ESPN as an organization itself. In 2006, Reynolds was 'suddenly' fired, and blindsided by his firing, because a fellow female employee made an alleged complaint that he had been inappropriate with her. ESPN instantly fired him, not because they had found evidence to support her claims, but because ESPN is owned by Disney, and feared any sort of scandal or fallout.

Had they WAITED and provided Reynolds with due process, they would've discovered the claims were in fact at the least FALSE and at most were a simple misunderstanding.

ESPN, left with egg on their face, publicly distanced themselves from this disaster, after a knee jerk decision to fire him before the investigation or all sides had even been heard, much similar to how they handled Jay Mariotti, a long-time lead guest on Around The Horn, when he and his wife were going through a divorce, it got nasty, she had him arrested for 'allegedly' attacking her physically. ESPN immediately fired him, only to discover later that the incident was made up, and Mariotti was found innocent of the claims.

Did Mariotti get his old post back at ATH? Did he get an apology, and his points back on their fake *** board on the lame *** show? Nope, ESPN buried the man and just pretended that he didn't exist ever in the history of the show, because to acknowledge him would be to acknowledge how they fubar'ed his tenure with the show.

Nope. But his charges were later dropped, even after he was sentenced. Did he get his job back. Nope. Did they issue an editor's apology for misrepresenting the facts? Nope.

Reynolds? Reynolds was so 'not guilty', he then had to sue ESPN to get his backpay back that they owed him. ESPN wanted to avoid any further embarrassment of how they handled the situation settled the case, rumored for seven figures for Reynolds for duress, backpay, libel, and a bunch of other stuff.

Do you really think Reynolds would be employed by MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL and MLB NETWORK today, if he were guilty of doing this, and how public it was in 2006? Hell, it was front page news on The Smoking Gun for months.

To understand Reynolds, is to understand ESPN as an organization. ESPN caused the Reynolds problem, because Disney and other parent corporations are absolutely TERRIFIED at losing advertising revenue, and if firing Reynolds or Mariotti or anyone else without having a nanosecond to explain themselves is how corporations work.

We live in a day an age where people just drop 'headlines' or 'clickbait' to get views, regardless of whether it provides news or all sides of an argument. If you've read this post this far, I thank you, it's nothing more than a counter to Harold Reynolds, not because I feel he needs defending, but more because I do not like or support how ESPN runs their operation, and has absolutely NO loyalty to their employees, no matter how long-tenured, or whether there's PROOF of what happened.

ESPN has had a reputation for YEARS of doing this to employees, and Reynolds was a victim of this.

I like Harold Reynolds and think he will bring a lot to keep the audio fresh. He knows baseball, he played baseball, and It's Harold Reynolds we are talking about not Steve Phillips, after all.
