If you go to any other sports game you would probably find the same problem. The elite know the meta and they use what works because it helps win games.

Even in esports you're going to see homogeneity because that's what works, it's just how it is at top level play.

I disagree with this statement 100%. I played over a seasons worth of games in DD with a record around 100-75 or something. So decent but not elite by any stretch. In all those games I ran into speed/bunt only teams 4 times. I ran into guys that could hit pretty much anything out of the park maybe 2 or 3 times. The vast majority of the games were straight up. Maybe not 100% sim but pretty close. I can't even fathom where you came to such an outlandish conclusion that only the elite players can enjoy and/or play against sim style players. That's just ridiculous.

Almost every single H2H DD game I played I faced constant bunting and stealing. Its why Ive stopped playing this game online over the years. I used to play a couple hundred h2h games a year, but that number has dropped dramatically each year. Just because you experienced something different from him, doesnt mean hes wrong.

The fact is that DD, and more specifically the cards are a continued income stream throughout the course of the year. I don't ever see them ignoring Diamond Dynasty. They just need to come up with more ways to involve the entire player base. Not everyone has a desire to play online. I know I don't.

Conquest was a step in the right direction. That got me interest in the cards last year and they did get some extra income from me because of it. I also liked the idea of the offline mode where you would play other players teams, but the other team would be controlled by the computer. That got me to, for the first time, spend some time and design some uniforms and give that mode a try. Unfortunately early in the season the difficulty was broken on that mode. I would like to give that a go again this year but would like a little more of a goal. Maybe match you up with 16 other teams of a similar ranking and do a 16 team tournament, or shortened season with a Championship game at the end.

So while I hope every game mode gets love every season it is safe to say that DD as a revenue generator and RTTS (which I believe) as one of the most played modes will probably always get more attention than the others.

To piggyback off od the post above me.

DD needs another Offline Mode. After finishing COnquest, there was no reason to play that mode again (except for grinding innings but it was only 3 innings a game).

I would love to see an Offline Battle Royale Mode. I love the drafting/playing 20-win tournaments but my Wifi is not quality enough to play online games. If they created an offline BR, I would play that very often.
You could play against other BR teams, same way you play Extra Innings (other people's tendencies and roster). But I think the rewards wouldn't be as high quality but then the entry fee could be lower.

On the Twitch Stream Schedule, it says on the DD day, Seasons and Programs... I'm assuming Seasons is an offline mode. I cannot wait to hear more about it.
