Bowl Bound is the most amazing college based sim out. mods helped keep it up to date, easy to customize too. im curious to how deep this is, tempting but i dont wanna get burned.

No OSX version. There are ways to get it to run on a Mac though. Visit the FOF central forums and there is a whole thread on it.

Not worth updating from FOF7 imo.

Bought FOF8 on steam, played it for couple hours refunded it. Game will not grow with outdated menu system. I feel like I'm playing a game on Windows 95.

They did. It was a while ago that they made a deal to distribute the game. It lasted one year. True story: When they made the deal Madden had a 2 round draft and poor offseason implementation. The next year Madden had a 7 round draft and good offseason.

Re: Front Office Football Eight Review (PC)

I finally take the Cleveland Browns to their first Super Bowl in 2019 and 7 players get food poisoning.. ugh.. 3 of them are my receivers.

Hope these FA can learn the system in a week.

Plus, my QB is out with a torn rotator cuff. I'm playing Green Bay and Rogers has been out but is listed as "probable" so I hope they keep him out.

I've been playing FOF for 16 years now, and while I'm not sure this is the best version of it, it does feel drastically different from FOF7 or FOF2k7. Could the game use a coat of paint? Yeah, because it isn't as pretty as any of the other sports management simulations on the market, but under the hood it's as strong as any game in that genre.

To me, the biggest thing about FOF is the camaraderie I get from playing in online leagues.

Re: Customize?

Is it possible to
-customize league size (smaller league)?
- start a season in the past, I.E. 1958?
-Use the league structure of the early 70s (26 teams; 3 Div each conference)?
