Just separate online pros from offline ones for people like me who can't stand career modes. FIFA has a decent unlock system. Well, two years ago when I last played...

jesus, op got roasted. this game had great potential, but unfortunately it's half-assed and fundamentally flawed. new features that were added are incomplete and don't work properly. defense for instance - there's so many new options, but the core defense doesn't work properly... namely interior defense. something that should have been nailed down years and years ago. actually it was, but then it got screwed up somehow. mind boggling. the lay-up meter. the timing doesn't coincidence with the hand release! mind boggling. if it doesn't work right, save it for next year. just a couple of examples.

i know that it's just a video game, and progress happens over time, but when you take two steps forward and one step back every year, and implement new features without tuning and polishing them correctly, people are gonna be mad. this game to me is like a vette without a engine.

Re: NBA 2K17's Run: A Mostly Successful Outing

I do feel that this game took a slight step back graphically from 2k16 imo-Especially with body types. I do like the title but I was annoyed by the early release issues (dream team not unlocked for weeks), in game mechanics such as player movement on defense and offense, and now freezes and dashboard crashes on X1. I do think this is an ambitious title that can't reach it's full potential until the game engine catches up with all the info O'Gallager, Czar and Wang are throwing at it. Part of me wishes they could take a year off to just iron things out rather than be forced to meet this yearly release window.

Re: NBA 2K17's Run: A Mostly Successful Outing

I feel like a better title would be "A mediocre outing." Or a polarizing offering. Etc. I feel the title doesn't speak for what is seen on these forums, which makes it seem out of place.

The article is pretty short considering how much there is to discuss about 2k17.

it's crazy that 95% of people replying to this thread don't care much for the game, or are just straight up through with it. i hope 2k is listening.
