I think..the use of PFF shouldn't be the end all be all to stats..but also I think people need to take a step back on slamming ratings too..look trying to adjust ratings within a week to week time frame is silly..in my opinion it takes a full year to get a handle on each player and if their play has risen or fallen

You know what you're right, he had been playing so well he was on how many teams in a 2 year span?

Week to week changes are really difficult for sure, and just as a heads up PFF isn't the end all be all.

Boykin came into the NFL in 2012 with the eagles and spent 3 years there their best Nickel DB . In his 4th year he was traded to the Steelers by who of course chip Kelly who was moving everyone and is a horrible coach and Roster evaluator . Eagles fans were dumbfounded by the move and angry with chip .


In his season with the Steelers and him the coaches didn't get along and they didn't use him till later in the season and what do you know he played well as the stats and pff showed above .

After last season he was a free agent and signed with the Carolina Panthers the was released like a month later with a " injury risk or concern "

Boykin then signed with my Chicago Bears and would have made our roster but he was placed on IR with a pectoral injury in August which you just now put him on IR in this recent update .

So don't say stuff like he's so good he's been on how many teams in a 2 year span because if you don't know the situations maybe you shouldn't comment on it cuz it def wasn't about his play which the stats show he's been solid .


Brandon Boykin who was 2nd in coverage in 2013 , 19th in 2014 then last season ranked the 23rd best Corner out 119 via PFF .

Brandon Marshall is good and is about to be moved again this offseason his 3rd team in 4 years .....

He was supposed to be on IR all year, was an oversight, I could of sworn he was already on IR but he wasn't so I corrected the mistake.

The fact you are torn up about a guy who hasn't actually done anything since 2014 is concerning to me, it seems like you're pushing for this guy to be better because the other corners on the roster aren't as good as you'd hoped.

It's also more concerning you just keep mentioning his ovr rating instead of his coverage ratings which are the most important. As everyone says, PFF isn't the end all be all.

I decided to give him a minor tweak and his ovr just happened to go up to a 70, this is likely where he will remain till 18.
