Yearly buy for me regardless! And makes me even more excited with my fav player of ALL time gracing the cover.
Love that they gave Lindors face a update, hope this is true for Russell, Baez and especially Hendricks too.
And liking what I'm seeing with new and improved ball physics, hope this leads to real wind being in the game again!

Russell, Hendricks, and Baez look just as good as Lindor does. I checked them out yesterday as a matter of fact.

P.S. to anyone thinking about it, this is not an invitation to ask how your favorite players look.

Since this is really the only game I play and play it all year. I really hope the Retro mode has a season mode which will give myself some new game modes. I am really looking forward to the Retro mode.

Stat tracking was my biggest wish list item before MLB '16 and I think they more or less closed that loophole.
Do they yet tally the number of a player's MVP, GG, SS, CY titles and AS appearances, etc. in franchise?

Always kind of diminished the value of getting this when it really meant nothing in the end, or at least couldn't be retained.

Nope. They just keep the previous 3 years for the awards.

Those aren't really stats per se, but there should be an awards page on the player cards where that info can be found.

5 fixes that are needed:
1) OF having line drives go through them when an animation does not take.
2) Batted balls hitting the pitcher too frequently (and the pitcher never being hurt).
3) Too easy to throw strikes, and when bad pitches do happen, they are too often left over the plate.
4) Please please please fix the sim stats for complete games and shutouts.
5) Using lefty/righty ratings for pitchers so that they are used situationally.

Please, get these right.
