Im not much of an online gamer unless it involves blowing stuff up. I dont know how many hours ive gotten into Steep but i play numerous hours a day, everyday. Ive been content with just exploring and sessioning lines while slowly working thru the challenges, all by myself and at my own pace. Loving every second of this game. The online component really didn't mean anything to me and i doubted really grouping up with anyone would be that interesting. Ive been shooter online gaming since the first SOCOM and ive definetly run in to my share of d bags along the way which has definetly curbed my enthusiasm for online play.
Then last night happened. I only planned to play for a little while and maybe get a high score i was working on for a challenge i was close on the night before. Some dude asked me to join him and i figured why not. The second we join he proceeds to make a phallic symbol in the snow using his snowboard and i think "yup here we go" lol We end up both trying a cool area that wasn't even a challenge and just messing around. Another guy joins and i get a dare for a challenge from him. It was flying thru rocks and i must have played that challenge over and over for at least an hour till i finally beat him. It was so rewarding. A few other people joined ,tried for a bit then went off and did their own thing. Next thing you know ive been playing all night.
It was such a blast and im just so ever greatful this game is in my life.

Was excited for this but online only turned me away. Just cant get into a game that's only online.
