Maybe you’ve won the Super Bowl a few times in your offline franchise, dominating the CPU every chance you get by exploiting and capitalizing on every one of its inherent flaws. Nice writeup! I'm currently in one of the better franchises on OS (SOS Crew). I can remember a few years back in a different league, one of the commishes (a volatile individual) deleted the whole league one day simply, because he didn't want to be a commish anymore after losing a handful of games so that is something to watch out for. One thing that you did not mention is make sure you have a good internet connection for playing games online and reducing lag.

I have been a part of the Any Given Sunday OS group for the past year and it's made me love madden again! I recommend joining a league to everyone that enjoys franchise mode.

Re: Madden NFL 17: Tips for Finding An Online Franchise

Since i see reddit was mentioned , which is an outside website, i would also add DaddyLeagues, as it still has alot of leagues hosting their sites there while waiting on this app to drop.A forum where people can post openings, a "find a league" page also where commishes can post openings as well, Plus just a league search , where you can go search leagues by console choice ,and look at their pages, and get in contact with someone. So there are lots of options for people as the ones mentioned above in thread as well as here to find a good Sim league , where the guys are not there to play lobby ball.

Main thing, as mentioned in the article, is find a league with a good commish and admins that are not just trying to make themselves the top players and are fair and enforce their rules for everyone in league equally.Communication by all owners in an online league is also a key component to keep one running well because everyone has busy lives.A league thats run fairly by commish and admins, will be one that will last and provide you alot of excitement for a long period . Once you find one like that, you wont want to leave.

As a commish , i also verify what Chris said about commentment , do not join more than you can reliably handle.Find out how often they advance from week to week to start off with. And from there figure out how much you have time for . No point in jumping in one, if you dont have time to give it the amount of time needed to be active with the rest of its owners. This is a common problem commish's deal with alot with new owners, over stretching themselves. So be sure to ask commish that first off , after reading over their rules to figure out if its for you or not.

If you havent tried it yet, once you find a good league, you will be glad you did. Good luck!

Seeing how this appears to be written for someone who'd never been in an online CFM. I would add that you should also let the admins of the league know that this may be your first and be open to constructive criticism.

Yes, great additional point there. As a Commish, i try to remember to ask new guys , if they have played in an online league before, not sure if all commishs do that, but its good info to know. I always tell our owners that we have had for a while, to be aware of a new owner, and try to go alittle easy on them if they break a rule, just pause the game and remind them. Its the best way to give people a chance who before havent been in an online league, in order to let them get a real feel for it, without just right off the bat going in hard on them.

You can also tell the guys who want to follow the rules and try to make it work and owner who want with the first couple of warnings owners give them. If they take the constructive crisitisms and work on doing better, they will be a good owner. If they just answer with smart remarks and keep doing things, you know its a bad apple.Always good to let them know if its your first run in an online league up front, no doubt.
