So is this considered Patch #5 or are we still on Patch #1? Because in past years I don't remember the patch names having decimals.

This would be patch 5. Honestly, if this patch doesn't come out today...idk what they are gonna talk about on their livestream tonight

Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Coming Soon, Fixes Roster Update Issue, Pro-Am & More

I have not put 2k17 in my xbox in weeks..2k needs to take as long as they need to in order to fix this bad boy with a problem free patch. The reason this game has issues is because devs were forced to rush 2k out for an early release in the 1st place imo. Someone posted an article written by a former 2k employee (Not NBA 2k but a 2k games employee) in the Mafia 3 thread which shed some light in regards to some bad 2kgames big wig mismanagement. In the article it claims that NBA 2k is a little more free to do things how they see fit but I'm not so sure. They really need to leave Wang, Jones, Czar etc alone when it comes to NBA 2k and they should never be rushed again if that was the case...

I still think at this point blaming the early release is just an excuse we're giving them.

Looking at the situation objectively, we'll say the game came out 30 days early. In said 30 days are we honestly and objectively supposed to believe all of the issues that are present in the game are a result of them not having another 30 days? Think about it. If said issues are a result of 30 days, what in the blue hell do they do with the other 200 or so days?

If that were the case you'd think the other 200 or so days were spent trying to hammer out a few legacy issues.

Maybe I'm wrong.

For example every CPU players loves to start a fast break and and instead of driving in for a dunk or layup, everyone stops and attempts a 3point shot??? Its like this year every player tries to play like Curry.

So then I knew something was up when I played with a few of the legend teams and those players were doing this also, so I look into there tendencies and even players like Kevin Mchale and Luc Longley had a pull up in transition tendency set at around 50??? Really? 2K has alot of the legend players tendencies really screwed up let alone the current players.....
It's apparent they don't care about us offline users. The online modes is where the money is at. We've come a long way since ESPN NBA 2k5 where everything is about getting players the best game for the best value. Now it's about how to milk us. Honestly that's just the gaming industry as a whole, to be fair. Games like Battlefield 1 are now a $120 investment if you want the full experience.

We have a community full of people willing to edit rosters for absolutely free but they can't hire one dude to make an actually accurate offline roster. Shows how much they care.

Will the double teams be addressed in the patch. Im having double teams in hof level on every possession and it just about makes the game unplayable. Any one else seeing this?
