Twitter has it's moments, too.

And just to reiterate, I asked Clint to verify on Twitter if the punting into the wind fix was coming because I couldn't find the tweet, in case someone doubted me and ask to link the tweet. Cleve, you will now need to take Clint's word for it, too.

This was Clint's response just now:

fix coming, not live yet.

Now, there is no need to ask when because they don't even know, yet and even if they did know, they won't nail down a date.

So, what's the difference between the post you just quoted and my stating before that a fix was coming that I recalled Clint mentioning last week?

It's all good, I just don't understand it.

After being a senior poster on these boards for awhile now, I would expect more than benefit of the doubt when I am posting something, it's not just lip service, I'm quoting the developers.

I've tried for other people and other issues too, but sometimes I don't get answers to those issues.

The problem is that whenever I get pressure the computer obviously commits intentional grounding. It ends up being realistic in the stats but the gameplay is absolutely terrible.

In answer to your question. I have corresponded with you for a long time, spoken with you over the phone, You are the one that turned me on to the show and coaches mode many years ago. I value your opinion and know your reputation, You also advised me to join this site, I don't know if you remember all that, But I do.

When you first posted that it ( would be fixed at some point ) I had absolutely no doubt that you were told that. To me though it sounded as if you were given the old standard answer, In the way it was worded in my opinion, It was, ( OK, We will get around to it someday, It's on the back burner... It was like if we have time, we will look into it, just not important. ) That left me with a question and a negative. Nothing to do with you at all.

In your last post you said... WE HAVE FOUND A FIX OR THE PUNTING ISSUE. Now that is a definitive answer. This tells me they have worked on or working on it and it is going to be tune file or a patch for sure sooner or later. That is a big difference to me. No guess work in wondering if they were ever going to fix it and how soon,This is a positive.

I hope that makes some kind of sense to you. Knowing they are doing something is a big difference in wondering if they will ever do anything. It really is as simple as that.

So it was never questioning or doubting you, It was questioning there response to you. Now there is no question, it is just waiting on the fix.

So once again, I thank you for looking out for us and passing on our concerns.

Cleve, just to let you know, when I did say originally, "They found a fix and we will fix it at some point," from Clint on Twitter.

I guess that last part means something different to different people. I've listened to the interviews that Clint and Rex give. They are genuine when they give us information, but one thing I've noticed, they won't say when it will happen and that is for good reason as I explained earlier.

I knew Clint didn't mean originally, "it's on the back burner," just based on listening to interviews and Twitter.

It's hard to convey that over the internet.
