Yeah, pretty much this simplify my issue with the tuner. I do like that the Rushing is harder for both sides and they long run get slowed down, but i don`t want to sacrifice the rag doll tackling because of this.

Ahh, I gotcha. Yeah I've noticed more big hits on ball carriers. I'll have to look out for static tackles next game.

What you are saying is correct and it should be, but it does`t work that way.

You just need to go to slider forum and see how many slider set, and so many different versions and "theories" are around it.

This is from someone who only problem was the user QB accuracy. I spent all month trying to setup a good value were the QB accuracy makes user throw overthrows.
Yes, me and you both!! Unfortunately I started messing with other sliders. Like lowering hum rblk to 5 among other things. Made a mess. Had to jump ship to AM...... for now anyway.

Booker, do you remember 13? The demo? That was the first year for physics in Madden. The demo felt amazing. They released a patch which tightened that up. The release version felt nothing like it. That is the way this tuner feels. It changes the dynamics of the tackling animations drastically.

You maybe on the sim side but my cousins isn't. And they are taking into consideration both.,

And not, i`m not a person they should take into consideration since i have been tweaking most of the time and the way i play it`s not how most people will play. So i`m not a sim player.

See this is what I don't like about the whole "online" v "offline" argument. It can come across rather condescending. It's like the offline CFM crowd are the real sim players who really know football and know how it should be versus the online crowd that are cheesy and only know FB based on their fantasy football league.

The reality it there are ton's of online sim leagues with 32 guys in each league with most having a great football mind. I'm both. I'm in an online league and a knowledgable football sim player. Our league has had crazy rushing numbers. This tuner has helped.

No one abuses a certain play. We can't. It's against our rules. It was just too easy to run overall. So the data that Rex had matches our findings. Our league averaged over 5 yards per carry in week one. The average we want is 4.1 or so. We use All Madden with sliders to help run defense.

With this tuner it looks like we are pretty close to 4 yards per carry.

I guess my point is don't assume the data being used are all a bunch of mindless cheese balls abusing outside zone all game.

I`m glad i`m not crazy then. Yeah, i played a the whole weekend with the tuner just to see if it was me or some imagination. It did`t wow may anymore. I started seeing those scripted tackles over and over. I decided today to remove the tuner, i hate it, because i always want to be updated but the tacking is night and day to me at least. Some people prefer the scripted tackles because they are more "cleaner" i think is the word they used. But i like the rag doll effects, it make every tackle different and also make players weight matter most. No CB tackling Power RB and having that animation that throw the RB back 2 yds.

The've already made two moves which significantly impacted the dynamics of the tackling system. With the first tuner and the second patch, they altered the code so that defenders would no longer attempt to punch the ball out. Why? To prevent fumbling for those who didn't use the cover ball button. Why make that change instead of increasing the effectiveness of the cover the ball feature. "Hey guys, we see that you have complaints in regards to fumbling. Here is a way to prevent that from happening..."

See it's funny when they are marketing the game and trying to get everybody on the hype train, it's like yeah we want to make the game more simulation. We want the game to teach people football. Then they make a change which negates an important feature of the game. A feature that teaches people to cover the ball in traffic.

It makes no sense to me. And yes it feels like a bait and switch

But we don`t know that. I seriously doubt it that they leave away my "cousin" stats for example, who only throw 4 verticals all day.

And it`s not about Online players vs Offline players. It`s about Sim players vs Casual players.
