its just simply apparent that a lot of guys in this community refuse to get it. Thats why i wanted to see gameplay to know if this game got better or not, weeks ago. it's going to look great to some guys. thats cool. but to a lot of people, especially guys in your situation, the gameplay is gonna determine whether or not they buy the game and if it doesnt look up to snuff...then screw it. no purchase. it also doesnt help that the first real gameplay we get, its from dudes that run no offensive sets, no PnR, no schemes, no nothing. How are we supposed to see which improvements are made(that they are full-on marketing now) with Ronnie and LD behind the sticks? man come on bruh.

Well no that's the point, I turned on the video and tried to listen to it and I had to turn off because I couldn't get into it.

It's annoying because this happens on every single 2k stream I try to watch.

I agree I went a bit crazy in my post but it was very frustrating as I only viewed the video to hear the conversations that kept ending.

I was explicitly referring to animations, player movement, and fluidity when I said it LOOKS realistic. And I explicitly said that it does not PLAY realistically.

Obviously if the two people playing the game are playing it like it's street ball, it will look like street ball. The MOVEMENT and ANIMATIONS were smooth and realistic, NOT the decisions and play-style these two guys were using.

Let two guys play who actually play sim basketball, the gameplay will play out realistically.

IDK man, looks like you were trying to play it 2k15/16 style and getting beat by sound defensive positioning and ball movement lol. But honestly This game looks and plays amazing (based on 2k university). Anyone that has seen my past posts knows that I have been seriously critical of the 2k lovefest in the past but at this moment I have never been more excited to play a basketball game. As past collegiate player and current coach I feel this is the year to actually represent basketball. Also the freedom on the sticks and control over player movement is such an improvement from years past that to me it is almost like playing a new game. This year I will probably be joining the love fest. Dropping a video later on today/tonight showing just what is possible with the stick this year based on extensive time in the U. I will post it in the forums, hope some of you guys check it out.

With that being said, I respect other's opinion and I will buy the game like everyone else(hoping for the best), just a bit more reserved however.

So you're saying 2K16 is better than 17 and that past NBA 2K games didn't have sliding and some bad animations?
