Leftos,

When people say that the shot charts don't work, this is what they are talking about

This is from my Franchise. Year 2 with OKC. But they never worked from the jump

Absolutely love this.
Perhaps playmaking would fall into mental a bit though. And there could be a "hand skill" category that takes into account ball handling, hands, pass accuracy.

It expresses a goal you and I have in common, but I need more details as to individual problems you're seeing so I can zero in on parts of the generation that are problematic. It's not like we're generating players by rolling the dice on every attribute. The core is the position, the player type (two-way, all-around, rebounding, defensive, etc.) and the quality we want the player to have. And then attributes and tendencies are generated in all sorts of ways. Please, if you care to elaborate on specific problematic examples, I'd love to hear you out. Words like "synergistic" are the goal, but don't really help. A lot of attributes are already synergistic. Which ones are you not satisfied with?
Fair enough. Ok, i will give more specific feedback once i've played ML for long enough to notice trends emerge. Is there an ideal way to get the feedback to you? OS post? Twitter? Email? Some other way? I absolutely love MyLeague (it's the only game i play across the entire gaming sphere) and would be happy to be a lil' feedback sidekick.

For the time being, to be more specific, the things i'm talking about are how the attributes/tendencies/badges relate together. Not just the attributes by themselves. In 2k16, the tendencies can lack connection to the attributes which lack connection to the badges. I can't remember specific examples right now, but things like: Guards shouldn't be performing dropsteps on people. Athletic defensive players with poor shooting ratings shouldn't have a dead-eye badge. The generated heights are fine, the generated positions are fine, the generated overall ratings are good, the amount of badges generated is fine, the balance of good and bad players is good. I'll come up with specific examples of silly identities if they exist in 2k17. Although it is hard to give good suggestions for improvement without knowing the algorithms.

not to be a bug. but leftos where are you guys in terms of customization on generated draft classes ? appearances...body types, hair styles , accessories , tattoos ? The other stuff is great but myleague modes are really bland 30 years in with a bunch of players that look the same. I don't think this area should be ignored. Please give a update on this for fans who take the time to create and edit these classes. But thanks for everything else. We all appreciate you guys hard efforts.

This is some of the best news ever.... FINALLY, online leagues are getting some love once again... I'm not that thrilled about keepers...but I'll take it... sooner or later they'll give us salaries and luxury tax penalties like the real NBA... they can't give us everything at once...gotta save some room for improvement.... either way I'll take this and enjoy it....look at the online association/league messes we've dealt with the last few years! Thank you 2k....now come on Friday!

From my experience they only work when it isn't a user-controlled team.

I'm shocked that no one in-house noticed this issue. Hopefully, it'll be something that can be patched post launch at best or corrected for next season's game at worst.

Leftos,

One quick question on Team Records in MyLeague - are year-by-year Won-Loss records tracked by team?

After playing multiple seasons in MyLeague offline mode, I was wondering if it was possible to take a look at a team's prior won-loss records and maybe switch the team to user-control after years of CPU control. It would also be nice to see a track record of the most successful franchises after a certain period of multiple seasons. In prior versions of 2k we had the team's number of playoff appearances, conference titles, championships but was wondering if won-loss season-by-season tracking was possible.
