I don't really like hockey anymore but I might actually buy this game on Tuesday.

With that being said, it seems like after the patch it's impossible for me to score. I've played 3 separate Draft Champions and I've lost in the first game all 3 times. I just played against the Carolina Hurricanes and Cam Ward was like a God, he had 28 saves and shut me out. I tried everything, I even tried the super cheesy cut in front of the net goals like in NHL 99.

I definitely need to get better at this game but is anyone else having this issue? Also, my goalie seems to let in the absolute worst goals ever. Simple, dinky wrist shots go in from the other team. I played the Devils last night and they won 7-2. They scored 4 goals in the span of 2 minutes all from terrible wrist shots where my goalie had no reflexes, I was using Carey Price. My defense could've been better but even still, they were really slow shots that just went right past him, he didn't even move to stop them.

Again, maybe it's just me but these past few games have been super frustrating.
Its the opposite for me , before the patch i had a 10 min period game full sim 1-0 loss Kings Sharks awesome game tight checking, no room, had to get rid of the puck right away, cpu was dumping and chasing i was like wow maybe i can finally play single player seasons again. Then the patch, skating is different its wide open all games are like 5-4 goalies cant stop a beach ball.
The old check a guy to the ice and he gets up and retains the puck before you can is back.

Im curious as to what changed, id be interested to see the sliders pre patch and now post patch. Is it a code change or is it just a slider change and i can get that pre patch feel back.

I may have to check DJ neo sliders he posted to see.

Only goalie changes ..?

SEPT 9 - TUNER

GAMEPLAY:

GOALIES

Allow for a human controlled goalies to play as the extra attacker in EASHL games.

• Unfortunately we had to disable the ability for human goalies in EASHL to have control of the extra attacker when being pulled in Club or Drop-in games. We found that when the human user was the extra attacker and the game ends, their stats and progression are not counted. Until this is resolved human goalies will have to sit on the bench while the extra attacker is being controlled by the AI. We are looking to fix this issue as quickly as possible and we hope to once again allow the human goalie to have control over the extra attacker.
