IMO its one of the worst additions to the game. Just change it to "Always" with defensive assist at 100 and no jumpshots or post moves will go in basically especially in PNO games
1. Indeed. Is auto contest/ always contest still an online option?

2. Is there a way to defend manual backdoor cuts this year? The Cpu off ball defenders would get beat on manual cuts even when set to gap in 16? Made on ball d hard to do.

Will the difference in Veritcal & Lateral Quickness actually be noticeable? As that's what 7'3 bigs get penalized for the most.

People tend to go towards 2 7'3 C and it clogs the court in ProAm/Walk on. If the undersized bigs could compete that would grant more spacing on the court.

Our AI engineer who works on rebounding had this message for you...

"One of the main problems with huge guys is that they jump higher and farther when playing the exact same animation. Last year, we added vertical counter scaling to make them jump only as high as everyone else got to jump even though they were massive. This year we’ve added counter-scaling in the X-Z plane as well so the big guys won’t be able to cover more ground horizontally than others just because they are big. This should definitely help de-emphasize height in favor of positioning with respect to the rebounding game. In addition, we added more low-jumping rebound content so that we could lower the allowable jump height of our more vertically-challenged players."

Are the pump fake fouls automatic again in 2k17 or is there some form of user control in initiating them? Back in 2k11 you had to actually point the left stick in the direction of the person jumping at you in order to draw the foul which I really liked instead of it just occuring automatically like it does in 2k16.

1. Can we attack slow bigs off the dribble who are poor pick and roll defenders that show high?
Yeah, you pretty much should be able to drive right by them with a decent ball handler. I've added pick & roll blowby's to cover those cases.

Mike..first bravo on everything. I commend you guys.
quick ? something that always bothered me in the past. say I have a guy at 3 point center. I see a guy standing still on the wing. he's just standing there. the second I pass he runs forward into traffic causing a turnover. please say this is gone. or maybe I am doing some wierd lead passing without knowing? that was one thing that infuriated me beyond belief..especially when trying to keep my turnovers low.

Any word on tip ins? Not the put-back dunks mind you, but the simple controlled tips (fingertip and two-hand) that bigs do under the rim?

Good ish. 7 ft bigs who slum have taken a hit in blocked shots, perimeter defense and rebounding. That will help alot with realism. No more 20/15 games from Alexis Ajencia and Edy Tavarez. Ha

Very fitting to have made this adjustment for 2K17, with the return of Charles Barkley to the game...
