The leaked news is great, but it REALLY softens the joy of the blogs when they land now haha.

But hey, such nice news! Wow....

I wonder if they included last second plays for example alley oop tip-ins, I guess we'll figure that out with Mike Wang's blog.

On the flip side, the Pacers were not a strong offensive team at all. The Pacers played with no little to no switching on matchups, each player could individually handle their matchups without help or double teams, and they "funneled" players into Roy Hibbert due to his elite rim protection. As an opposing team, players were forced to take a lot of contested shots or meet Hibbert at the rim. Those seasons would have been NBA 2K13 and NBA 2K14.

Having said that, NBA 2K14 was a joke, because they took away blocking and reintroduced it in 2K15. Also, 2K has mostly been offense heavy for those two years...then there was the infamous Patch 5 that broke 2K15. The Pacers played WELL below their ratings and standing, because they sucked on offense and the AI didn't play "team" defense. Defense was strongly driven by ratings and tendencies. In a vacuum, Indiana's individual players outside of George and Hibbert sucked.

Reading the "new" feature, indicates to me that 2K Sports has figured out to incorporate team defensive strategies based on the coach. Frank Vogel is now the HC for Orlando, and the current Pacers roster is more offensive heavy...but they made strides on the defensive side of the ball for 2K17.

Yep, for any Pacers fan that played NBA2k then, their virtual team didn not reflect at all like how they were IRL then. Thankfully I dont play online, so I could do some editing to help somewhat, but you online Pacers guys Im sure was frustrated to use them then. I know the shotblocking was frustrating in 15 wit the lack of them, when 14 was solid, thankfully 16 you could block shots once again. Hopefully this year shotblocking is even better, but a little more realistic with the help side coming over to block shots, its sounds promising if it works as they say this year with helpside.

Either way. I appreciate what they're doing. 11 different sideline reporters? Very nice.
I think having the sideline reporter doing updated commentary is a response to the Madden commentary. It probably will not be as good as Madden's but the fact that they are putting it in this late shows crazy dedication to be the best.

In order to get updated color commentary we will have to get a less known commentary team who is free to record the back and forth NBA storylines.

It was my wishlist to include a generic commentary team with the regular crew just for that reason.

That's an insane list, can't wait to get this on the XB1...no PC this year...I doubt even 50% of this goes into the PC Version.
