I'm probably in the minority but I'd prefer the game to be released close to NBA opening night in late October. I hate waiting so long for the first roster update. I'd prefer to start my MyCareer after the first roster update so the ratings and progressions are more accurate but with the game coming out so early that would put me like 2 months behind everybody else.

Man... 2K just keeps on dropping these awesome trailers and announcements. I remember a lot of people complaining about the lack of updates and trailers, where are you guys now? I'm so excited for this and being able to play for my Fighting Illini is a small inclusion that means the world to me. Can't wait!

I'm not a big MyPlayer type either but I'm getting on this. 1. Like Gilley said, it's a demo of sorts. And 2. For me anyway it looks pretty cool. Then again I'm a huge college hoops fan so anything with college ball in it I'm down.
