To chuck someone is to bump or knock someone off their path as they go by

I wish they would take it out because it does way more harm than good. Sick and tired seeing my AI teammates flopped and give up a lay up or a jump shot. It's annoying man.

Are you letting off the turbo button. If not then that's the reason. It's the same for floaters.

Re: NBA 2K17 Basic & Advanced Controls Revealed

Is there off-ball control on offense this year yet? I realize there are "off-ball" controls for playing at the park or whatever, but I'm talking about in a head-to-head NBA game. Specifically like Mike Wang's off-ball controls from NBA Live 10.

I've been waiting for this forever. A few examples of when this really opened things up or when you felt like a baller even without calling a play, or when things ran stagnant went like this (keep in mind I'm going to use 2010 Suns as example)

a) You dribbled up court with your PG. I see Grant Hill (midrange shooter) on the wing. I take control of him. Computer takes control of Nash. As Grant Hill, I pressed the "call for a screen" button, waited for the screen, ran to the free-throw line unguarded, pressed "call for a pass", received pass from Nash, shot and swished an unguarded 15-footer.

b) I'm sprinting up the court after a defensive rebound on a 2-on-1, or 3-on-1. I quickly take control of Amare or Jason Richardson (leaving the computer to assume control of Nash, pushing the ball-up), run to the hoop, and press the "call for the alley-oop" button, and it's beautiful.

c) Nothing's happening and it's stagnant. I take control of Amare on the block, press the "call for a pick button", get loose, press the "call for a pass" button and come in to finish strong, unguarded.

d) I'm down by 3 at the end of the game. I take control of Jason Richardson, call for a pick, run to an open spot beyond the arc, call for the ball and you get the idea...

I realize not everyone has experienced this gameplay mechanic, but it was brilliant at making a team of 5-players controlled by one human brain flow like real ball. I'm surprised it hasn't made a full return, especially considering Mike Wang implemented this in his short stint with the "other game".

Any word?
