Graphics looking pretty solid overall. I agree about the shorts... That throws it off a bit.

This is pretty much what I needed to see to secure a preorder (Oh who am I kidding I'd have preordered it anyway).

Excited to see how this looks in 4k on my 65in OLED from my PC =).

Re: Chris Smooth footage

Shorts seem okay to me. They already made them way tighter then they used to be, if I had to nitpick i'd say they are maybe an inch or so lower than they should be. It's really not that glaring of an visual problem though to me. It's only noticeable with certain players who have really high waists or have really long legs like KD/AD/Ingram.

One thing that's off(I hate to be the guy), the player models don't really have butts. It's always been an issue. Guys like lebron or draymond don't look as athletic without the bigger legs/butt, they have exact same thighs as Durant or any skinny guy. I know it sounds a lil homo, but guys like Harden/CP3 have much different lower bodies than thinner dudes.

Re: Chris Smooth footage

Shump's hair looks dope.

KD is too skinny but I'd rather him be this skinny that what he was last year. I'm completely cool with his model.

The shorts are enormous. I pray my that MyPlayer isn't forced to rock XXXL shorts.

Re: Chris Smooth footage

  • The body models looks very good.
  • They added some new rebounding animations. Looked like less sliding and snatching boards. Players didn't appear to be jumping unrealistically high. Actually looked less scripted to me perhaps live rebounding?
  • Rim physics looks new to me
