I respect the developer for sticking with this. I think it may have some promise. I am not a fan of the passing method but I see how it could appeal to those tired of other games. I like the customization aspect though.

With all the moaning we do about the most infinitesimal details in the other game, it is hard to rally around this game the way it looks today. Don't get me wrong...major props for even getting it this far!! I'd like to see a more mature version next year and maybe even on the consoles. It does look to have promise. Stick with it.

Thinking about buying as I want to support the developer. Anyone know if the game supports a ps4 controller on MAC?

Thanks for the support, guys! I know the game isn't where people would like it in a lot of respects (re: graphics), but it has a lot of cool things to offer. I would really encourage you to give it a shot on Steam if you play games on the PC. We plan to massively improve the graphics and come to consoles next year, too.

Any revenue we earn goes right back into the game. If you'd like an alternative to Madden, give us a shot!

Re: Axis Football 2016 Interview with Danny Jugan

Couldn't get controller to work on MAC. The stick moves my guy but that is about it. Going to try on my Windows laptop.

EDIT: I got the controller to work on Windows. I suspect the controllers are not fully support on Mac. Ps4 and old 360 controller didn't work but we're running fun in Steam. Anyway, the game is fun. It has the feel of old school John Elways quarterback which was a fun game. It is a bit refreshing to have a game with a bit of an old school feel for the modern era. The pace of play is great. The dev has made big leaps this year. Unreal this is mostly the work of one person. I'll continue to support.

Support this man. He has a good foundation in place. That passing mechanic is pretty easy to learn. Biggest selling point for me was coach mode and how much you can mod in this game. There is a ton of stuff you can mod.

Curious, why don't you like the passing mechanic. I personally think it is one of the best features with this game. Axis's passing mechanic actually mimics what a quarterback can do. You're able to throw the ball anywhere on the field. You're actually able to overthrow, underthrow your receivers, on purpose if you want, while your receivers actually adjust to the pass. You are able to lead the receivers. From the looks of things, it actually takes some skill to get a completed pass. This gives the user the most control. Don't exactly see why someone wouldn't welcome it with open arms. Again just curious. To each their own.

The problem is this same attitude though.

They're not going to start off on that level but they do need the support to do it.

You can't blow everything off then say you want an alternative.

The badminton guys supported and got a great game. Give this guy something to work with and Im sure you'd see better.

I just don't think the guys who are claiming they want something else have the stomach to see it through to be honest , imo

I mean he's actually doing something. He has a working game out there, isnt blowing hype smoke up your rear end and you guys just say it needs to be better...

While people lost their minds off of joe montana, something we don't even know is real, and was based off of a lie.
