Watching my kid play HUT solo season.

Yes, it does look a lot like 16 but so far it seems more refined. IMO this is what sports games should do, quit chasing looking different every year and fix gameplay and add features.

One thing I noticed, he has a decent team and not facing really tough teams yet, but so far none of those cpu no look cheese passes for one time goals.

His D is collapsing nicely and sticking to/tracking off puck players much better than in 16.

Also penalties are being distributed fantastically so far. PP and PK a couple times in each game so far.

The only negatives I see this early on is it's too frenetic and the puck rebounds way too far after being shot and the cpu wins back loose pucks way way way too fast
