Pappy, as much as you hate runners. Guys who just press forward, mindlessly winging strikes bothers me just as much. So unrealistic and goofy; Throwing like 200 strikes a round...
You, sir, are mistaken. If you are Robbie Lawler, this is exactly what you do because he is so OP that he can machine gun blast, get hit stuns/reactions, break your guard and never lose stamina.

I fight more like you I think. I tend to circle a lot and pick my spots, often looking to get it to the ground. People hate all of that, especially the ground part. So normally if I see a McGregor or Lawwler player I actually don't take time, I get to mount and knock them out ASAP just because those characters piss me off

First off, lemme point out I have my settings set for only 5 round fights.

My favorite thing to do against McGregors is to literally "run" for 3-4 rounds. Playing very paced, basically only throwing jabs-straights, and leg kicks. Stuffing takedowns, and if I get a chance, hold them on the ground denying everything. The whole time they're doing almost nothing but mindlessly throwing spin kicks, and side kicks, slowly gassing themselves out.

By the time you hit rd 4-5 they usually have only a sliver a stamina left. That's when I start to actually open up, and pressure them hard, cutting off the cage. These are some of the most fun times i've had in EA UFC 2. They only have enough stamina to throw 1-2 strikes before theyre totally gassed, and I have almost an entire stamina bar still, and can just completely open up, picking them apart with everything I have.

I wish that so many fighters didn't have the superman punch. It really ****s up my combos. Maybe make you click in the right analog or something for guys who have it., I don't know. I use a lot of people, so I need to start making better mental notes of people's move sets or something.

Ya I do that sometimes on Ps4 when a game is laggy and I'm trying to smash the buttons harder and faster because of it. It actually happen to me last night in a championship fight.

This has been a issue for me since PS3 days. That dam button always gets hit by mistake.

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Community Impressions

I know it will never happen, but in future editions I'd like to see a system that really shows how good guys are in this game. I'm not saying take away the leaderboards or anything like that, but some kind of rating in addition to that would be cool. If you've got a million wins, but all you play with is Jones, McGregor and Rousey that isn't really that impressive to me. Things like fighters used, strength of opponent, etc could tie into it. I think that would be pretty cool.

I really liked how the original UD game showed your 3 strong points, like if you were a grinder or striker, had heart. that was great.
