I've already pre-ordered and expect the game to be great. Concerning the lineplay/pash rush bugs though, They happen where they happen, but for them to be in the trenches, in the build that you're showing to the public, is a nightmare scenario.

That is one area that will trigger basically everyone here, because truthfully their tuning for lineplay/pash rushing always seems to be subpar in the retail release.

Pattycake/stonewalling interactions always, always, end up being much too prevalent. It'd be nice if sometime in the next few weeks they showed us a build where those bugs have been squashed, because this is an area where they really struggle to get right.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I hardly ever post here (I don't play much football games), but I must say that this looks really good. I won't even see all the small problems that you guys see, but to me it looks better than any prior madden.

However, the most basic thing that I need to understand is what's going on with the running animation? Especially the ball carrier - what's the deal? It all looks great until the RB gets the ball. Then it looks like NBA Live 07 all over again. You know, the weird running animation as if he's running with his pants on the ground...

I don't know much football tactics or logic, so I can't see what you guys are seeing. But I do know that human beings (healthy human beings) don't run like that.

How can they miss that? Are they trying to break it on purpose - to fix it again next year? Can't understand this...

Well its great to finally see one of the things i been harping for Madden for years now is added. The mash button to break tackles/or make tackles is finally added. Its been what? 7 plus years i been harping for this feature in these forums to be added and finally its added. Who remembers NFL2k5's make/break tackle via button pressing???? Awesome feature that was sorely missed once NFL2k was no more ...so its with great delight to see this feature finally making it to the Madden franchise. For what ever reason it may be...the feeling of physically trying to break or make tackles by quickly pressing a button feels very rewarding when running the rock or on defense trying to make a tackle....

Now if only you guys can add a quick burst for RB's running through the holes by quickly pressing a button or to break away from defenders by quickly pressing a button...would be great, and would feel great, NFL2k did it, why not you guys? IT would really make running the ball fun.

Its amazing how such a small feature greatly makes the game of football that much more fun. Any NFL2k fan will agree with me, guarantee.

Nice job Tiburon, there is nothing wrong with implementing some features from the late and great NFL2k. You're finally getting what makes video game football fun!!

It's not a mash. It's a single button press and whoever pushes the correct button first (it's not always the same button) wins.

6 seconds to throw on every play

Wide open receivers all over the place

Super soft coverage where DBs just let the catch happen and then try for the tackle

40 yard bombs where the WR out jumps everyone 75+% of the time...

What is this garbage? Is this 2016 by accident?

When I watch real football, there is almost no pass play where the qb doesn't have to step up and navigate in the pocket if he doesn't immediately find his first read on the play at the end of his drop. Like others have noted, the pocket is simply far too clean due to lack of pass rush. If it was just happening when Dallas had the ball the maybe you could say it's because of the great Cowboy line, but Eli was also able to recite poetry and read War and Peace back there. The ends need to get up the field faster and the qb needs to be forced to move in the pocket.
