Focus is the word, make less leagues but improve the quality of the ones they have, make leagues like BPL, with real faces and body structures, proper rating of players, accessories, etc etc…make second and third league for these leagues so we can bring a young small team up and play against big teams…

I am just worried having J1 this coming year but with all fake faces, incorrect rating of players, no AFC Cup against other teams in Asia in career mode, etc…just really worried man

It's been one of my major gripes with FIFA over the past few years. Ever since EA decided to focus entirely on FUT, they got realy lazy with players appearance. Which is a shame since it would benefit Ultimate Team to have more players with their real faces etc.

It's not a matter of laziness, face scanning is a time-consuming process that also happens to depend on the schedule and availability of the players being scanned. I'm sure EA would have every player in the game face scanned and 100% accurate if that were an option, but with the number of leagues represented in FIFA that isn't close to realistic.

I look at it this way: In Madden, the responsibility for accuracy is with one league, the NFL. But if EA added the CFL and every other American football league in existence to Madden, the focus would still be the NFL, the reason being it's far and away the most popular league. The EPL is the NFL of FIFA.

I heard that point so many times. Listen, maybe EA should refocus their strategy. If they're all about the accuracy of the game, they should make a push for more face scans.

Pro Evo might have less leagues than FIFA but you can find so many more players with their real faces. And yet they don't use the same technology as EA does. Given the fact that most of the time Pro Evo's players look better than FIFA's, maybe it's time EA considered another technology...

Really don't understand why they focus on league in Asia, there is no Asian cup or anything, why not focus on more European or South American leagues? Or second division leagues

Money move. Now they'll have a steady revenue stream in Japan and surrounding areas. Makes sense.

But I doubt the league will be as bright as what Konami used to make, there will be a lot of fake players, with terrible rating, no asian champions league in career mode....

Not really sure that matters in the beginning. People will buy it because it's new to them and now they can have a vested interest in FUT with more homegrown players. And we all know how much money EA makes from FUT, now they'll make more.
