The GKs are the biggest problem for me in PES 2016, for which there is no fix in the settings. They just let in too many unworthy goals for my tastes. If that area is improved, I'll be eagerly returning to PES this year.
Yeah, I admit that it's a very time-consuming task, especially when you're first starting to edit teams. However, I'm no stranger to that, as I do sliders for The Show every year, and that takes just as much, if not more, time as editing teams in PES. Once you get a system down, it actually doesn't take that long. I've been focusing on international squads, and now that I've gotten the hang of things, I usually finish a team from top to bottom within 20 minutes or so. If I end up having to edit names, the process takes a little longer.

I had already been reading the Sim Settings thread before I got the game, so I was already aware that the best fix for GKs in this game is to up their Defensive Prowess rating to 99. I did all the squad editing before I even played my first match, and the GKs play realistically for the most part (IMHO). I know that the keeping has been a problem, but I'm just saying, from my experience thus far, I haven't had that issue.

I only get a few hours of game time a week at my age, 20 minutes per team is a lifetime. Really happy the file sharing is back

Football Manager dosent have the German league licence, but does include it in their game (albeit 'fake'). However Football Manager as far as im aware is not sold in Germany because of this fact.

Based on that, their choice is; either include a German fake league and not sell in one of Europes bigger markets, OR leave it out but have an editable option and still make sales in Germany.

The best thing about PES though is the 'WE / PES' Leagues which we can manipulate and turn into a Bundesliga, which will be even better this year with option files
They can't ban them from selling the game in the country. How would they do that? If it's a fake German league, it's just a fake German league. How would that stop them?

Best to ask SI, they have the exact same problem. They include a 'German League' with the players, but have fake team names... ie Gelsenkirchen is Schalke and so on.

Because they do this, they cannot sell the game in German retailers. Im not saying German people cannot source the game, but you wont (As far as SI explained) find the game in a German shop or being sold on German Steam etc

Im not saying thats why Konami dont include a 'fake Bundesliga', when they include other fake leagues. But it would point to that, basically as they dont have the luxury of Football Manager by being PC Digital and essentially easy to get online.

Ill try dig out what SI said, im not an expert and may have it wrong, but thats my assumption as there is no reason not to include a fake German league, if they include a fake English league etc

Wow. I did not know that. Is it a law that prevents them from selling it, or that the German retailers simply choose not too out of loyalty?

Thanks. By the way, what is SI?

Sports Interactive, the company that makes Football Mananger. Great series but haven't played an installment since 2010, I think I am overdue.

Sorry to burst anyone bubble, but there will be limitations on images imported, so no, you will not be able to make ALL leagues with all kits possible. Sadly, no-one mentions it, even Adam.

Add the fact KONAMI/PES lost BBVA license to the mix. That's a downer and many people won't buy this game due to that. Even if gameplay is out of this World (I doubt it will be, PES 2016 failed me a lot).

Also WILL we still have 20 stadiums? It's a bloody joke in 2016. Graphics look very cartoon like too, animations are still locked down (you have to wait for one animation to finish, so another can start, I can still see the lack of fouls from AI and referees not punishing offenders :/).

After FIFA 17 presentation, KONAMI and PES Team have to come out with something very special, so people will even look at this game.

We don't know for sure what the limitations for Option files will be but I agree there should be tempered expectations when it comes to this. Konami has always under delivered on this aspect. But to say presentation will hold this back from people even looking at this I disagree; gameplay is always king and people will always come back and play as long as it offers something special in this category.
