You take the player no matter what.
I still don't think they take him. Especially if he flat out tells them he doesn't want to play for them AND they have Dario Saric possibly coming in soon. Brandon Ingram fits that team better. At some point you have to stop hoarding big men and try to put together an actual team. I mean honestly, how are they going to get Noel, Embiid, Okafor, Saric AND Simmons all on the court? Trading one is easier said than done. No way they get back what they invested in one of those guys.

Many players have forced their way out of not getting drafted by a team in nearly every sport. It happens. Steve Francis did it to Vancouver but they took him anyway. He forced a trade before he played a game and it basically ruined the franchise.

Philly - Ingram (this could go either way)
Lakers - Simmons
Boston - Poeltl
Phoenix - Bender
Minny - Hield
Pels - Dunn
Denver - Brown
Sacto - Murray
Toronto - Labissiere
Milwaukee - Davis
Orlando - Ellenson
Utah - Valentine
Phoenix - Jones
Chicago - Luwawu

I'd love to see Dunn on the TWolves with Wiggins and Towns.

Re: The NBA Draft Lottery Is Done, Where Do Teams Go From Here?

I want Ingram as a Sixers fan.

Ben Simmons reportedly wants to go to LA, okay cool, you just shown you're immature and money hungry. Dude you're a ROOKIE you don't have any clout in this league. Come here, prove yourself, be a star, win a MVP/Title, then talk about deals. You didn't do JACK in college.

And whoever said about Saric is 100% correct; him and Simmons are basically the same player and analysts don't even realize this. Yea, Simmons is a lot more athletic but Saric can actually shoot and still run the offense as a stretch 4 off the bench like Turkoglu.

Honestly I'd take Ingram 1, then see what kinda picks/players we can get for Okafor.

Nerlens is a stud defensively and an all-energy/hustle player. If Embiid never pans out, Nerlens can play center alone alongside a smaller 4. Okafor can't play at the 5 alone..he needs a rim protector with him, he keeps our options limited. And Embiid actually has a shot so he compliments Nerlens a lot better.

If we can come out this draft with Ingram and Buddy Hield someone I'd be ecstatic. We can sign basically any guard in the league with our money.

Sorry guys but i must disappoint yall since you've been looking at Dario Saric as potential franchise savior from overseas, he isn't one. He is only average offensively, poor man Turkoglu if you like to compare. Needless to say both Vesely or Ekpe Udoh are better scorers than Saric in Europe lol.

I don't think anyone thinks he's all that lol. But he'll hopefully be able to come in off the bench and run the offense like Hedo used to do.

For sure, they traded a 1st round pick for a guy who was going to be let go anyway smh. At least this draft is only a 2-man draft, otherwise it would hurt even more.

That's the best case scenario because Saric doesn't really have NBA body, so i'd put him on SF rather than PF, he struggles to defend while playing PF for Anadolu Efes when matched again likes of Pero Antic, Jan Vesely, Felipe Reyes or any at least semi-strong forward. It's so confusing for NBA scouts because this yr. prospect Nikola Jokic was really good but he wasn't really recognized on european stage but Jokic as much as he was anyonymus he have better body than Saric by miles.

Honestly I don't think Saric can be longtime NBA player, i see him returning to Europe in about few years, european bigs who are tweeners between PF & SF position without great mobility, defense or great 3pt shot just don't have place in league like NBA.
