Day 1 - I will simulate two seasons and see if Larry Fitzgerald drops to a 71 speed, or Garçon falls to a 77, and then I'll take it back. Any update on this issue?

Pure speculation but I think one of the improvements they haven't touched on is player movement, if you watch the trailer when Gronk is running it is sped up, I think that was intentional and we are going to hear about better running and player movement animations. Could be wrong but usually when something is sped up/cut out, it is for a reason. They cut out part of the WR/db animations in the first trailer last year and I think they may be doing something similar with Gronk running this time.

If no fix to this then hopefully an edit player feature is within the Mode so we can at least edit attributes that decrease to rapidly.

I definitely think something was done with movement animations, but in the two clips shown at the end, the running looked pretty similar to Madden 16.

Honestly I hope they are building something on the side to release one of these years, but the animations and the quality of them is the biggest thing holding this game back. One reason why the game doesn't feel fresh to alot of people. Alot of the same animations from last gen still trigger often.

I did love the new handoff/playaction animations added last year. Best animations in the game honestly.

This should've been in Madden years ago. No excuse with the exclusive NFL license to not have signature QB throwing styles, pass rush animations, DB stances, etc.

It's possible that they didn't add all the new animations yet and were still using the old ones for that part of the trailer. I know with WR/DB there were a lot more between the first and second time I went down there, and they didn't have the handoff and play action animations in at all the first time.

Well that's good to hear. Like I said, if they get a majority of the animations to the quality of the handoff/playaction animations, the game will start to look so much more realistic.
