Does Steph Curry Justify Greater Than an 99 Overall Rating?

Curry can have a 99, he had an amazing season. Let's stop comparing him to all-time greats until his career is over...thanks.

No one should ever have a rating over a 99, no player is perfect and never will be.

2. No, comparing him to all-time greats is completely legit considering he had one of the best seasons ever. Talking about all time great seasons is definitely a legitimate conversation.

Not at all. He's a legendary player, future HOFer and probably the best player in the league right now. But if 2K is sticking to it's policy of ratings, Curry is not in the conversation of thee best player of all time. Sorry.

I don't think you understand the rating system they put in place this year.

It was about individual seasons, not career accomplishments.

So, 2016 Steph is indeed worth of a 99 overall rating. I mean, he made 400+ 3's. Nobody else has even made more than 276 outside of Steph himself. He's also the greatest shooter of all time and it isn't even close.

But to answer the question: No, no player deserves more than a 99 overall. 99 max is fine.
